Designing a book for the Indian one act play called Bali by Girish Karnad.

Designing the book included the cover page, layout and all other illustrations.

The play talks about love and lust, hence the use of red color to keep the agressiveness of the play in the layout too.

Since, its the script of the play hence it could be used on the stage for reading and acting, hence the ergo-nomics of holding is kept in mind.

PUBLICATION DESIGN

POCKET SIZE GUIDE ON INDIAN ROCK BANDS THAT BELT OUT VERNACULAR NUMBERS.

This pocket size guide features some of the most famousIndian rock bands which deliver folk fusion music. Its informative and visual at the same time. Information about the band , it’s band members and schedule of upcoming gigs in various cities is also provided.

AN ABSTRACT PAPERBACK COVER FOR CHETAN BHAGAT’S Revolution 2020: Love, Corruption and Ambition.

The cover design depicts my interpretation of the title of the book. As the name suggsets Its about revolution but the underlying story is about love, corruption and ambition which i have tried to depict using a triangle. The randomness in placing the triangles is suggestive of the chaos.

CONCEPTUALISING AND BRANDING FOR OUR SELF OWNED DESIGN STUDIOS

A classroom project under which we were supposed to think of a time ahead in future where we would set up our own design studios.A complete work profile for the studio is created and branding is done according to the feel of the studio and kind of work done.

LOGO FOR THE I-MARK

The above logo was sent as an entry for the I-Mark logo competition held by the India Design Council.The concept of the logo was to signify the importance of good design as a strong foundation on which a stable product, system and service can be con-structed.

PACKAGING

REDESIGNING THE PACKAGING FOR SABARMATI NEEM SOAP

Sabarmati neem soap is a Khadi gramudyog product which is available for just Rs.7.Hence while redesIgning the packaging, I had to keep in mind the costing which should remain as before. The idea was to give the soap a neem skin feel, which is achieved using photographic approach.

PACKAGING FOR ARABIAN DRY DATES

Dates are usually availabe open in wholesale markets or in packets with big quantities. These packets are difficult to carry around and create fuss, to overcome this dates can be packaged in smaller quantities ( in units and not by weight ). Small packets can be used by travellers or given to children in tiffins.

PHOTOGRAPHYINTERACTIVE MEDIA

RAILWAY STATION KIOSKSCONCEPT :

Create a kiosk which are installed at railway sta-tion and are specific to that particular railway station.

The purpose of this kiosk is to fecilitate users with information which is critical to that mo-ment.The kiosk works in a similar manner as compared to the existing kiosk for pnr status check.

This kiosk is an aid to find information about the trains, ticket and also fill the railway reservation form on the application which is then forwarded to the counter where you get the ticket.

CLASSROOM PROJECT

The project dealt with developing latin typeface which had the attributes of a hand painted leterform usually found on handcarts, stalls and small shops.

The gujarati ‘n’ was collected as a specimen from the old city market in Ahmedabad.

The basic 26 letters set was created by our group.

Red hair appears in people with two copies of a recessive gene on chromosome 16 which causes a mutation in the MC1R protein.
