Hoodie Towel App Icon

For my hoodie design i placed a picture of captain cheddar and the text along with the name of our company underneath ʻBig Crown Mediaʼ.

For the towel design iʼve gone for a mix of colours that stand out to appeal to young children, iʼve also applied the jelly fish that appears in my game as a logo this keeps to a water theme. This design also contains the ʻCaptain Cheddarʼ title and company logo. However iʼve also inserted extra text saying ʻSplash!ʼ just to make it more interesting and keeping to the sea/water theme.

The App icon is Captain Cheddar with a tile like texture, i have also themed colours of light and dark blues to match the theme of the game. The name of my game appears in big bold letters, the use of the yellow text also helps to catch the eye. I have also placed my ʻcompany nameʼ logo in the top left corner.

FeedbackOLLIE: ‘I prefer the hoodie design compared to the towel since I can imagine a young kid wearing the hoodie regularly, where as the towel may not be used as often and people would not recognize it as your brand with the jelly fish on the front instead of Captain Cheddar. To improve the hoodie design, perhaps you could add another picture next to captain cheddar. ’

KAYLEE: ‘ I prefer the hoodie design because the colours in the towel design clash, and don’t look as appealing, where as the colours used in the hoodie design work much nicer. As an improvement, maybe add a boat or water around the captain cheddar design.’Changes from peer feedbackTo improve my final design i have chosen the hoodie design since it was most popular, and used their comments as inspiration to place bubbles next to our animated character. I believe this helps to make it look less bland and is also relatable to our underwater theme.
