Enrolments for Prep/Working towards Foundation for 2018 are now open. Loch Sport Primary School are now accepting enrolments for 2018. We currently run modified programs for all of our students. From 2018 our school will be further tailoring learning activities to help support you child as they work towards Foundation (Prep) and continue to develop their readiness for school. As a parent, be assured this mean that your child can start school and be given the opportunity to mature and gain confidence. Come and speak with us about how we can support your child’s learning, and get your child working towards Foundation.
Working Bee
Thank you to all of those that were able to make it to yesterday’s working bee and luncheon. The students and the parents worked so well together, as they spread the new wood chips around our playground. It was so lovely to see our Loch Sport team and community come together and work to improve our school grounds. They look fantastic. Thank you to Meaghan for all of your time in the kitchen to put on an amazing spread of pastas and curries for our luncheon.
Black Snake Productions
Last week we had an incursion from Black snake Productions. It was delightful to have our playgroup families join us for this amazing day. The native wildlife presentation was awesome!! We had the opportunity to see and touch animals from stick insect to pythons and owls. Thank you to April W from our Playgroup family, to be brave enough and help me hold a python around my neck and overcome my fear. It was so scary, but I could not have done it without you. All of the students and families had a fantastic morning, and it was great that we can all come together as a team and share in such wonderful learning experiences. I look forward to doing this more often.

Celebration of Learning Next week is our last week of school, and we have a lot to share. Thursday the 29th June from 12.00pm parents, families and friends are invited down to share in our celebration of learning. Students have been very busy and challenging their learning as they inquire about the Galaxy and Technological Advances. This is a day where students will share their learning and be proud of all the progress they have achieved throughout the year so far. There is so much to be proud of, and we would love to see you all there. Our celebrations do not stop there!! Friday the 30th June will be our official skip day to round up our Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. Students have been working tremendously hard as they practice every day to develop and improve on their skipping skills. They are excited about the tricks and skills they have to show us. The students have all worked together and showed immense resilience and team spirit as they skip their way towards our jump day. The final jump day will begin at 10.30am.
Dismissal: Friday is also our last day for the term and students will be dismissed at 2.15pm. We have
had a successful semester of learning and I look forward to what the rest of the year will have in stall for our team at Loch Sport Primary School. I wish you a happy and safe holiday break, and am looking forward to seeing you all again in Term 3
