GRANTS RECOGNITIONRecognizing Faculty and Staff who have received Major and External Grants and Awards in 2019
President Karol V. Mason, Provost Yi Li, and Associate Provost for Research Anthony Carpi proudly recognize faculty and staff with major and external awards at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2019. The awards in this book are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our colleagues, and represent their perseverance and resilience. And never has this been more evident than at the current moment. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, our faculty and scholars have moved mountains to move their projects online, adapt their staff to remote work, and continue to advance their projects. We thank all those recognized for their contributions to the College and for their efforts to move forward with the scholarly mission of the institution in spite of the challenges they have faced. We would like to take this opportunity to thank CUNY’s Central Research Office and the Research Foundation of CUNY for their hard work and support in the administration of the College’s grants, contracts, and scholarly works. The College and the Office for the Advancement of Research provide significant resources to support sponsored research, scholarship and creativity.
