Frequently Asked Questions
Some of the most frequent questions we get asked are "How long does it take to evaluate and mark my
examinations and post grades in the student portal? And or how long does it take to Issue and mail my
Certificate of Completion? The answers depend on the time of year as well as how many students we are
facilitating the requests for. Granton Tech makes every effort to ensure that our student’s requests are
being met in a timely fashion and we keep you apprised of the progress along the way. Please review
below some of the standard questions we receive so that you have the appropriate answers prior to
beginning your chosen studies.
Q: How Long Does It Take To Evaluate, Grade & Post Exam Marks in Student Portal?
A: Please allow up to three weeks to obtain your marks within the student portal. Granton Tech’s
course curriculum contains different number of lessons and examinations. Your Examinations are
evaluated and graded by tutors rather than being passed through grading machines. Hence, your tutor

examinations may require up to an hour of marking. However, the majority take considerably less time
to mark. You should plan your schedule based on a turnaround time of up to three weeks.
Q: How Long Does It Take To Issue the Final Certificate of Completion?
A: Please allow up to four weeks to obtain your final certificate of completion.
Q: What Do I Do If I Have Not Received My Final Certificate of Completion?

Certificates of Completion for course are processed once a week at the end of the each week. If you do
not receive your certificate within four weeks of receiving your final examination mark, we suggest you
either email our student services department or contact us via our toll free number. At any given time,
Granton Tech processes a large number of Certificates so please be patient when waiting for your copy.
Q: How Rapidly Can I Progress through my course?
A: As rapidly as you like and have the allotted study time for. Granton’s courses take a set number of
study hours. Students who are able to study on a full time basis, or who can take two or three days a
week on their lessons will be able to complete their examinations in fewer time than students who
devote less time per week to their studies. Remember the more time you allocate and use for study the
sooner you will complete your course.

amount of time you spend on each required lesson.
Q: Once I've completed my first lesson/lessons, how do I submit my assignments and or exams for

Q: What happens if I have trouble with my course and specific course related content?
A: There is a tutor assigned to each of Granton's courses. He or she is responsible for providing varying
degree of assistance throughout the duration of your studies. The tutor is there to encourage students in
the process of developing their skills within their chosen course. At Granton
we do not expect students to know everything about their courses. There is a reason why students chose
Granton and that is because we understand that students register to learn. And it is our mission to guide
and to teach every step of the way. If you require assistance throughout
the duration of your studies, you can email your specific question/s to the following email address:
[email protected]. Once received your inquiry will be forwarded to the appropriate tutor and he
or she will get back to you with specific feedback as well as direction.
Q: I am not longer used to studying. Will I be able to adjust to a study environment?
A: Granton's courses are different from what students may have experienced with other distance
learning institutions. Our students study in a relaxed atmosphere in the comfort of their home. Students
are encouraged to take the time to put extra effort into parts of the course that interests them and they
can ask for assistance at any time. There is no pressure for students to meet any objectives outside of
what they are personally trying to achieve. With Granton it is about ease and comfort of learning and
taking the time to develop new skill sets.

Reasons Why You Will Succeed with Granton
The key difference between Granton Tech and many other traditional schools is that Granton has
developed their courses to prepare individuals for career advancement and new career opportunities.
We have invested time and resources to developing course curriculum that will provide each individual
with real set of skill focused knowledge, required in a real work setting.
1. The system of education and training used by Granton Tech is based on performance objectives
and skill development. Many traditional systems are competitive and are based on comparing
one student's answers to another's, the marks being used to differentiate between students rather
than focus on each student’s specific performance.
2. The system of education and training used by Granton Tech is based on the student following
instructions and using reference materials without time constraints to achieve objectives. In
this way your examination strain is eliminated and you will tend to perform better as your
learning will be relaxed and focused on acquiring knowledge not fast tracking through the
material. At Granton Tech we want each individual to achieve success and allow them to do so
within their own learning parameters.
2. The system of education and training used by Granton Tech is based on “an all-inclusive
curriculum”. Everything that you need to learn, or be tested on is found within your study
material. Once you complete your chosen studies you will be confident in pursuing new career
paths, and or higher education.
The primary focus at Granton Tech is to guide each individual in their pursuit of a better & happier
life. We aid each person in the fulfilment of their personal goals and ensure that each individual is
successful in meeting their learning objectives. We pride ourselves in putting each student first and
making their learning our priority.
