Motivating patients to improve their oral health goes beyond product recommendations. It’s about motivating behavior change and the science behind it.
HealthCaring Conversations was developed by Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. to support dental professionals in motivating patients to achieve their oral health goals. Grounded in behavioral science, HealthCaring Conversations is based on insights from thousands of consumers and dental professionals worldwide. This program provides dental professionals with a comprehensive framework of personalized tools and techniques designed to help bridge the gap between uncovering patient goals and improving patient outcomes. Strategic Brand Enhancement Through Social Media Tess VismaleDahlia + Agency
The social media landscape is ever changing. What was hot last month has a code or algorithm change this month—or sometimes the audience just browses away to a brighter, shiner object. Therefore, it is critical for your personal, professional and program brands to stay up to date on the latest trends and features. When was the last time you took a long, hard look at your brand and how it compares to others on social media? This session will give you a jump start on building a brand that will help you showcase all the aspects that make you and your program unique.

Audubon I-II/BCDEFProgram Evaluation Beyond AccreditationCheryl Westphal Theile, Ed.D., RDHNYU College of Dentistry, NY
Evaluation theory is a compilation of many theories that allows the administrator to choose methods for program evaluation, such as utilization-focused and value-driven evaluation theories with mixed methods of data collection. The self-study accreditation process is one method of collecting evaluation data about our programs. Beyond this seven-year process, the administrator must also evaluate all program goals and use a variety of metrics to collect and interpret the findings. A SWOT analysis is an effective means to collect data and assess program effectiveness. Using concrete assessments helps directors plan for new strategies to overcome any identified program weaknesses or threats.

Traditional education methodologies keep students in silos with little opportunity for academic, personal or professional development. Professional learning communities (PLC) are an established methodology, providing specific, intentional experiences to enrich student educational experiences and professional development. Participants will learn how to develop and implement an innovative approach to using PLC to foster meaningful student learning.
