On a dark and thundery night,

the Wicked Witch of the West found her

strength renewed.

The house had

not vanquished her

and this was unknown

to all in the realm.

She knew this was her

time to rise back from the

ashes and move to another

land, where mayhem

could flourish under her direction. She had heard of Excelsior -

a place of unparalled beauty,

excellence with subjects

ready to cater to all whims.

Hence, her reign of chaos and darkness began

unbeknownst to everyone.

When evil befell Excelsior, the White

Witch knew that her sister was

alive and was up to no

good. She knew that she had to do

something to stop her sister, but she could not act alone. She needed to enlist the help of Dorothy and their loyal friends.

Since her return to Kansas,

Dorothy was becoming very bored with the monotony of

everyday life. With her loyal dog Toto following her every

step, Dorothy thought about the friends she had made in Oz and how she wished that she could see

them once again. She entered her room and

was very surprised to find the ruby

slippers with a note from the

White Witch asking for her

help.

Dorothy knew what was expected of her,

so she grabbed Toto, put him in her basket

and wore the ruby slippers. She clicked her heels three times and asked

the shoes to take her where she was needed.

She found herself being transported to a dark and gloomy land where the only source of light was from the Yellow Brick Road. Dorothy said ‘Toto… I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore’.

She started calling him, but there was no answer or movement. She approached him and realized he had been attacked, and was lacking straw. Scouring the area, she managed to find enough straw to sustain him.

Scarecrow was revived, and thanked Dorothy for rescuing

him once again. Together they continued the journey to find the wicked witch

Perseverance was rewarded and the

can was located under a strange and

furry boulder. One way or another,

they had to reach it to help their

friend. Suddenly, they heard a strange

noise which sounded like snoring.

They tried to move the snoring

boulder and suddenly heard a roar.

They were scared to death! What they

thought was a boulder turned out to

be a lion, which was baring his teeth.

The beast’s expression changed to a

smile, and they soon realized it was

their friend the Lion.

Dorothy and her friends arrived at their destination, Excelsior,

and explored the area in search of the Wicked Witch. They found her ensconced in darkness and surrounded by her evil subjects. She had

placed her high command in a dark room lit only by a huge chandelier. Dorothy saw their only way to rid the place of

this malicious being. The plan was set- Dorothy, Lion and Scarecrow created a distraction to divert the

Witch’s attention. Meanwhile, the Tin Man

silently broke loose the huge but dimmed chandelier.

This fell with a loud crushing noise on top of the Witch,

crushing her. They had succeeded in their quest - the sun broke through

and the realm was once again free to celebrate the festive period and Live The

Grand Life.
