THE HUALAPAI NATIONThe Hualapai are a native people of the Southwest. Traditionallythey inhabited an area of more than five million acres. Today, theHualapai Indian Reservation is 993,000 acres, with Peach Springsas its capital. Peach Springs, located on Route 66, is the site of theonly road that, essentially, leads from the top of the Grand Canyon

to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. This passageway, Diamond CreekRoad, is approximately 19 miles. Primarily nomadic hunter-gatherers,the Hualapai were organized in bands. Each band occupied a definedterritory in pursuit of seasonally-available wild plants and animals.

Grand Canyon Skywalk at Eagle Point $29.95The Glass Bridge is suspended 4,000 feet above theColorado River on the very edge of the Grand Canyon.Personal belongings, including cameras are not allowed on the bridge.To protect from dropping any items into the canyon or onto the glass,you will be asked to store your items in the provided lockers. Photos ofthe Skywalk may be taken from the side with personal cameras.Professional photos of you on the bridge are available for purchase afteryour walk. Children must be able towalk on their own on the glass bridge.Additional 7% tax applies.
