In NSW, the state has agreed to implement the Phase 1
subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and History.
At this date, there is no commitment from NSW to implement
the Phase 2 with the exception of Geography or the Phase 3
subjects.
The existing time allocations and the breadth of subjects
offered is not planned for change.
When / if the decision is made to implement the Australian
Curriculum: Technologies the Board of Studies NSW Syllabus
Development process will be followed, including the processes
of Writing Brief development, and a period of consultation on
the developing syllabus document. This would mean three
years before implementation.
