Corporate FinanceOur Corporate Finance team looks after fundraising, acquisitions and the selling of businesses. We focus on the Irish mid market sector and we have developed a strong reputation for guiding entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses through periods of significant growth.
Corporate RecoveryGiven our extensive practical experience on all aspects of Corporate Reconstructions and Insolvencies, we offer a wide range of services to businesses in difficulty and their providers of capital.
IT AdvisoryWe design tailored IT solutions to meet our client’s requirements and provide a full support service including hardware and software installation, network design, systems integration, implementation and training.
Forensic AccountingWe offer an experienced forensic accounting and litigation support team, who work closely with clients and their legal teams to deliver a confidential, professional, independent and practical solution in this specialist area.

We offer training contracts with Chartered Accountants Ireland studying for the ACA exams and tax training contractsstudying for the Institute of Tax CTA qualification.

At Baker Tilly Hughes Blake we pride ourselves on offering a varied and challenging training programme. Trainees are exposed to all facets of business and work with managers and partners to deliver for our clients. Trainees are fully integrated team members whose contribution is valued. There are great opportunities for ambitious people to grow and develop their career within the firm.
Audit Trainees:As auditors we conduct financial examinations to provide an opinion on whether clients financial reports provide an accurate reflection of their business. Trainees will get a good understanding of how businesses work, operate and manage risks. You will develop an excellent knowledge of the business world and be exposed to many different industries including manufacturing,distribution, retail and service industries.
Tax Trainees:Trainees will gain experience across all the tax heads including Income Tax, Corporate Taxes, Capital Gains Tax, VAT, Capital Acquisitions Tax and Stamp Duty, as well as working on consultancy and restructuring assignments with senior staff members. The tax department is a multidisciplinary team and trainees work directly with other trainees, seniors, managers and partners to devise solutions for our clients, putting their academic studies into practice every day.
