My Working Objectives Overview

• Lead the development of Contingency plans across WTV• Implement the Performance Hubs in the WTV region before

handing over to the teams • Manage the TRIAD performance and energy management

regimes across WTV• Shadow performance managers role and deliver team

health and safety briefings • Support the technical planning team to build the resilience

of assets and sites across the Oxford area

Contingency Planning

Main AimTo develop a plan for each site across the WTV so that in an event scenario customer impact is reduced to its absolute minimum. The information stored will be of use to Network, Control and Operations

Health and SafetyMain Aims

Develop my knowledge of Thames Waters operational H&S standards and values. Complete assessments on sites across WTV to gain awareness of

location and condition.Progress

Assist with the SHE inspections across WTV

Lead the monthly H&S team briefings with the N. Oxford team

Updated SIC cards for N. Oxford and Swindon. Working on S. Oxford and CotswoldsWork through the team hub at Farmoor too escalate larger H&S issues brought up during the Hear for You surveys and start a monthly spotlight on specific issues.Complete IOSH and COMAH training.

Main AimsTo maximise the energy savings during the TRIAD season and to

implement these changes where cost effective as part of our 4-7 energy management period.

Progress ChallengesManaged the development of the energy saving plans across WTV for TRIAD with excellent results so far 70k favourable to budget. Swinford exported £14,630 to be deducted from this years energy bill.

Communication between Control and Operations

Supported the business case for the replacement of Farmoor/Swinford thermal VOD

Made the Cleeve/Gatehampton shutdown standard operating procedure during TRIAD season and energy management periods.

• Progress into a team management role at Swinford WTW within the next 2 months

• Lead the Farmoor wastewater redevelopment project. • Complete my NEBOSH course (18th -22nd July + 1st-5th

August)• Increase my exposure to different areas of the business, seek

opportunities to become involved in projects outside of water production

• Manage and develop fundraising events for WaterAid (both within the graduate scheme and outside)
