Social and Cultural Anthropology is a discipli-ne focused on the study of cultural variability. In addition to its cross-cultural approach and its focus on intercultural relations, this dis-cipline is marked by the use of ethnographic fieldwork as a specific research method. An-thropology contributes decisively to the study and intervention in social issues which are controversial in our country, such as multi-culturalism or migration processes.
In-class theoretical-practical teaching is the principal teaching method. Moreover, the practice of fieldwork allows students to gain first-hand knowledge of some aspects ad-dressed in this degree.
