Copy each right (in yellow) into your Social Studies and then match each behaviour to one of the rights.This means that I will be free to express my feelings and opinions without being interrupted or punished.This means that no one will yell, scream, shout, or make loud noises.This means that no one will hit me, kick me, push me, pinch me, hurt me.

This means that no one will laugh at me or hurt my feelings.

This means that no one will treat me unfairly because I am black or white, fat or thin, tall or short, boy or girl.

Social Justice

Social Justice is defined as justice exercised within a society, particularly as it is exercised by and among the various social classes of that society.

A socially just society both understands and values human rights, as well as recognizes the dignity of every human being

Here are two very recent examples of what some would feel are social injustices:
