PROJECT OBJECTIVES & LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of Term 1, Grade 10 students will be able to:
To understand the basic principles of research in language. To examine the tools, techniques, resources, theories and
notions that govern research in creative writings and info graphs .
Research detailed information related to different genres of short stories.
Research using online resources( search engines, legitimate resources)
Gathering information in a meaningful display using an online generated mind map/power point.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
By the end of the term, Ss will have built an extensive and vast knowledge of the different types of short stories. They will be able to showcase their information in an engaging manner based on their compiled research-based findings. Finally, they will have developed strong public speaking skills.

Ss will be divided into groups according to their abilities. Ss will be introduced to the concept of writing “bibliographies” by teacher or school librarian if available.
