Bethany Village is expanding to serve thegrowing population of seniors
Graceworks Lutheran Services is demonstrating its commitment to the Dayton region

A nationally accredited Continuing Care Retirement Community, Bethany Village provides
residences or active seniors, assisted living and a range o healthcare services to meet cha
needs, including short-term rehabilitation, memory supportive care and skilled nursing care.
The expansion is one o the largest building
projects underway in the south Dayton
metropolitan area and includes 60 new
residences, a Village Center and a Memory
Support Center. The frst step was a massive
exterior renovation o the 11-story Vista Place
apartment residence, the tallest building in thecommunity. But the project is about more than
new buildings. It is about enriching the lives o
the communitys growing population o seniors.
The Village Center will open in December
2008 and create a new ront door to the
community. The new central gathering place
illustrates Bethanys ocus on wholeness o lie
and includes a Fitness Center, a relaxing Bistro,
a Grand Room or large gatherings, a classroom
or educational programs and an Art Center orcreating and exhibiting art.
The new Memory Support Center will provide a
home-like environment or people experiencing
dementia or Alzheimers disease. To be
completed in spring 2009, the Center will be
divided into our households. Each household
will eature 14 private resident rooms, a dining
area, kitchen and living room overlooking a
central courtyard where residents can experience
the outdoors.
When the expansion is completed, Bethany
will be home to approximately 800 older adults.
More than 575 elderly people experience skilled
nursing care and customized rehabilitation
