May 1-3...

Our Second Annual Parish Retreat is May 1-3 at Camp Mitchell. We

are looking forward to a restorative and formative time. This is the

first time Grace will hold Eucharist simultaneously in two different

places.

INQUIRER’S CLASS

Sundays at 4:00 p.m.…

Are you interested in learning more about Grace Church or maybe

becoming a member? Inquirer's Class (IC) is the place for you! IC

will meet Sundays at 4:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend to learn

more about the Episcopal Church, the Anglican Communion, and

our Liturgical tradition. Childcare will be provided.

ASCENSION DAY

May 14th

at St. Thomas…

An Ascension Day Eucharist for the Northwest Convocation of The

Diocese of Arkansas will be held at St. Thomas on May 14th

at 7:00

p.m. All are welcome to attend.

GRACE CHILDREN’S CHOIR SCHOOL

Concert, May 17th

at 4:00 p.m…

The Grace Children’s Choir School will conclude the academic year

with a concert on Sunday, May 17th

at 4:00 p.m. All are invited to

attend and enjoy the music that the children have worked on this

year. A light reception will follow. Choristers, please arrive at 3:15

p.m. to warm-up.

Choir camp will be May 16th

at 10:00 a.m.

Multi-Family Baby Shower…

Thank you to everyone who attended our multi-family baby shower

on April 26th

. We always enjoy the opportunity to shower the

newest / littlest loved ones at Grace.

VINEYARD

May 22nd

...

The Vineyard will meet Friday, May 22nd

, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of

Amanda Orcutt (201 E. Main, look for the pink door next to the

flower shop). The women of Grace meet once a month to share

drinks, eats, conversation and laughter! Please bring a beverage

and/or snack to share. If you would like to host a Vineyard

gathering, please contact Morgan Scholz at 918-766-2985.

MOTHER’S DAY

Men of Grace to host coffee hour

All Men of Grace are invited to help us host early and late coffee

hour on Sunday, May 10th

, for Mother’s Day!

BLESSING OF THE GARDEN

Rogation Days...

The Garden in Siloam Springs has grown quickly in the last month.

We will have a “Blessing of the Garden” soon. Details to be

announced later!

ADULT CHOIR

Concluding May 24th

Thank you to Jan, Liesl, and all choir members who lead worship

this year. The choir will conclude on Sunday, May 24th

and resume

in the fall.

PENTECOST SUNDAY

May 24th

...

Our Pentecost service will incorporate a handful of Grace's bi-

lingual members who will read scripture in various languages as we

celebrate and remember the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the

apostles (Acts 2:1). The Feast of Pentecost signaled the beginning

of the apostles’ public proclamation of Jesus as Christ and is often

considered the birthday of the Christian church. Pentecost is one of

the most appropriate days in the church calendar for baptisms. If

you would like more information or would like to be baptized,

please contact the office.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTER TRAINING

May 31st at 12:30 p.m...

We will have a training for all current and anyone interested in

becoming a Eucharistic Minister (EM) on Sunday, May 31st at 12:30

p.m. The EM assists the celebrant by administering the chalice

during Holy Communion. Open to all confirmed members who are

at least 16 years old.

VESTRY MEETING

May 31st at 12:45 p.m....

Vestry will meet at Grace House on Sunday, May 31st, at 12:45 p.m.

NO KID HUNGRY

Join us this summer!

No Kid Hungry is a program through Grace that gives free meals to

children and families once a week in the summer at the Saturday

farmer's market in Siloam Springs. To learn more about this

CHOIR CAMP AT SUBIACO ABBEY

Arkansas Interfaith Conference,

Established in 1976 by Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, and sponsored

by the Arkansas Interfaith Conference of Churches and Synagogues,

Choir Camp offers an intensive music program with classes

in choral singing, handbells, liturgy, Broadway song &

dance, history, poetry and art. This camp aims to provide a healthy

balance between work and play. The camp is open to students who

have completed 3rd grade up through those in the 12th grade. No

prior choral experience or membership in a choir is necessary. Only

a love of singing and music is required! Call 479 409-5679 for more
