Here is an idea of how you can start your letter…

Dear Captain Tom Moore,

amazing NHS! I think that what you did was amazing and I want to tell you why.

Firstly,

Writing Task 3

Read both of your writing tasks again and check that-

Your work makes sense when you read it aloud

You have used a capital letter at the start of each sentence

You have used a full stop (or ? or !) at the end of each sentence

You have used a capital I when you are writing in the first person

You have used a capital letter for any names you have written

When you have checked your work, make sure that you correct any mistakes that you notice.

Make a list of the corrections that you made to your work and keep it somewhere safe to

refer to when you are doing your writing tasks next week! You could make a checklist for

yourself.
