Advise the Governor on policies, priorities and objectives for state government activities to address social needs in Michigan
Assist organizations in identifying and applying for federal, state, and other funding opportunities
Identify, promote and share innovative and model community faith-based programs, initiatives, and best practices
Create an opportunity for Faith based leaders to serve as an advisory committee to the Governor through the development of the Statewide Faith Based Committee and Clergy Leadership Advisory Counsel
Work closely with community and faith-based organizations to promote citizen patriotism
