With reference to the tender for purchase of Scientific Instruments published in TOI,

dated 07/09/07, tenders may also be submitted for AAS and the date for collection of tender

document may be read as 18th – 25th Sept, 2007. Last date of submission of tender will be

05/10/07. Rest of the conditions will be same.

1. Firms participating in the tender should submit two bids i.e. Technical bid and Price bid

(financial bid).

2. Firms quoting for more than one instrument should quote separate rates for each

instrument and separate tender documents should be purchased for each instrument.

3. Bids should be submitted either by original manufacturer or authorized dealers appointed

by such manufacturers in India, who have after sale service experience in supplying such

instruments for more than 5 years.

4. The rates should be quoted FOB, Ghaziabad and should include transportation and

Commissioning of the instrument (s) at PLIM/HPL, Ghaziabad.

5. The supplier should mention the Warranty/Guarantee period for the instrument.

6. The supplier should provide spares for next 5 years of operation of instrument.

7. The supplier should also quote for AMC after expiry of Warranty/Guarantee period.

8. Each bidder should submit an E.M.D. of Rs. 50,000/- ( Fifty Thousand Only) for each

instrument quoted. The EMD will be returned to the unsuccessful bidder after the bids are

finalised. EMD should be in the form of Demand Draft, drawn in the name SSO (P),

payable at Ghaziabad.

9. The supplier should supply the instrument in one supply only, part supply will not be

entertained.

10. The supplier should not handover execution of order to any other /sister firm (s); it will

amount to the cancellation of order.

11. In case the supplier being unable to supply with in stipulated time or going insolvent the

loss incurred to the Government will be borne by the supplier.

12. The director has every right to reject any bid without assigning any reason.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROPHOTOMETER

Automated fully PC Controlled double beam AAS System having Zeeman background correction with Graphite furnace, Hydride generator with the following technical specifications.

The system should have a built in Atomizer for both flame and graphite furnaces and should be selectable by user through software by mechanical movement in one chamber. Item No. 6.- TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR Homeopathic Potentiser Mechanical Homoeopathic Potentiser. It should have following specifications:

1. The mechanical lever 24” length having motion up and down up to 15” high, motor operated with 1 hp single phase electric motor.

2. The lever should have provision for fixing a glass bottle of 5ml to 100ml size at various distances at 7 stations at a distance of 1 inch each from 12” onwards.

3. The bottle should strike on a rubber pad and where a facility should be there to measure the force by which the lever or bottle striking. A pressure gauge facility for measuring pressure may be provided. There should be a provision to automatic drainage of measured quantity of liquid (9 to 90 ml) from the bottle and refilling the same quantity of liquid from another container automatically after each stroke.

4. A graduated scale up to 15” for measuring the height of lever with a provision to measure the maximum height taken by the lever.

5. A counter for counting the movement of lever / minute and auto stop after a fixed number of movements.

All as per figure attached. DOUBLE HEADED AUTOMATIC HOMOEOPATHIC POTENTISER :

This machine is basically for preparation of liquid homoeopathic potencies from 000 to 999 and higher. Double headed. Two sets can work independently for raising homeopathic potencies. Mounted on heavy rust proof material of Aluminium / Stainless Steel and vibration free.

It should have the following features: Made up of stainless steel. All parts coming directly in to the contact of drug Solution made of SS 316. Dosing pipe material- Silicon / Teflon.

Cycle Time : For a complete of Dosing / Dynamization / Evacuation, machine will take 4-6 seconds. It gives a speed of around 15 cycles per minute.

Dosing : 1. Solvent will be fed in to 10 ml bottle through injection made of SS 316. Dosing accuracy will be closed to ± 3%.

2. Dose volume can be adjusted from 5ml to 10 ml as per the requirement.

3. Dosing time: 1.5 sec to 2 sec per cycle. Dymanization : 1. For Dynamization-vertical vibration (up-down).

2. Vibration speed 3000 RPM. Dilution is shaken for fifty times per seconds.

3. Vibration time is 1.5 sec per cycle. Evacuation : 1. Evacuation of the bottle will be through air

compressor with dry filtered air. 2. Evacuation time- 0.5 sec per cycle. 3. Amount of drug solution to be left inside the bottle

can be adjusted as desired. General Features : 1. The machine can be sent to manual operation

of programme to automatic mode. 2. Machine will have electronic counters for indicating

numbers of cycles completed. 3. Machine will completely stop automatically at the

prefixed cycles number after dynamization. 4. The machine accurately shuts down at preset

numbers of performance / dilution. In case of powder failure it retains the data in memory and restarts the dilution from the stage it was shut off and continue to further stage.

Power Input : 230 Volts. Single Phase.
