This is it folks. It’s that time of the year, when everyone’s eyes are fixed on what Google will bring next. Yes, Google is about to kick off its developer’s conference, The Google I/O, at 9 a.m. PST on Wednesday Google reported that this year's I/O conference will be focusing on Design, Development and Distribution. It was also hinted that Google has different places in mind for apps rather than focusing only on Google Play or the Chrome Web Store. So what exactly should we expect from Google this time around. In case that Google follows the same formula as it has previously done, it would not be wrong to expect that Google talks about its customer centric products ranging from the Android enabled Smart- phones to Google Maps etc. One should also note that this year Google has expanded its product portfolio by leaps and bounds with a lot of big name acquisitions till date. And it’s just the start. It is known that Google is dabbling in the field of ‘Advanced Mobile Technology’ with its projects like Tango and Ara. It has also officially launched the Google Glass, whose success is slowly increasing even though it has gained negative feedback. If you have followed Google’s story (which I am sure you would have) then you would get a clearer picture of what to expect in this year’s Google I/O 2014. According to us here at Voniz, we found the following six areas where we can expect Google to make important announcements. Android Version It is expected that Google will announce the next version of Android Operating Software which can either be Android 4.5 or Android 5.0 rumored to be named "Lollipop."

This is it folks. Its that time of the year, when everyones eyes are fixed on what Google will bring next. Yes, Google is about to kick off its developers conference, The Google I/O, at 9 a.m. PST on Wednesday Google reported that this year's I/O conference will be focusing on Design, Development and Distribution. It was also hinted that Google has different places in mind for apps rather than focusing only on Google Play or the Chrome Web Store. So what exactly should we expect from Google this time around.

In case that Google follows the same formula as it has previously done, it would not be wrong to expect that Google talks about its customer centric products ranging from the Android enabled Smart-phones to Google Maps etc. One should also note that this year Google has expanded its product portfolio by leaps and bounds with a lot of big name acquisitions till date.

If you have followed Googles story (which I am sure you would have) then you would get a clearer picture of what to expect in this years Google I/O 2014. According to us here at Voniz, we found the following six areas where we can expect Google to make important announcements.

Android VersionIt is expected that Google will announce the next version of Android Operating Software which can either be Android 4.5 or Android 5.0 rumored to be named "Lollipop."

Android WearWith more and more companies moving towards wearable tech, it is expected that Google would make announcements towards the much talked about Google Android Wear.

Android TVThere are also rumors floating around that Google might re-launch its ill-fated Google Android based TV platform popularly known as Android TV.

New Nexus TabletIts more than a year since Google launched Nexus 7. It is now expected that Google would go for a complete redesign for a smaller and more compact Nexus based tablet.

Home & Car AutomationWith its latest acquisition of the Nest, Google is marching forwards towards capturing the Home Automation market. Also it is looking to counter the threat of Apple CarPlay by launching its own Android in the Car Project.

The Projects - Tango and AraGoogle is also developing the Google Tango which has advanced computer-enabled vision as well as Project Ara which is an ambitious initiative to develop smart-phones modularly.
