Google  Plus  

!   Google  plus  is  software  that  was  presented  to  the  public  on  June  28th  2011.  This  program  is  known  to  be  advanced  and  above  the  other  social  media  sites.  Google  plus  has  features  that  lets  you  see  things  locally,  lets  you  view  peoples  pictures,  allows  you  to  create  groups,  plan  events  and  even  lets  you  see  the  most  popular  things  posted.  Since  Google  plus  was  presented  to  the  public  recently,  it  is  not  that  popular.  If  more  people  knew  about  it  Google  plus  would  be  so  popular  because  its  programming  is  a  lot  better    than  all  the  other  social  media  sites.  

Profile  

Google  Plus  has  a  feature  that  is  called  profile.  Your  profile  has  everything  you  ever  posted,  shared,  liked  and  your  personal  information.  Some  personal  information  you  can  put  on  your  profile  is  your  occupation,  education,  picture,  phone  number,  gender,  activities,  birthday  and  places  lived.  All  this  information  can  show  people  what  your  all  about.  Your  friends  could  go  on  your  profile  and  see  what  you  have  been  doing  lately.    When  you  see  a  picture  of  you  and  a  old  friend  you  will  be  able  to  identify  them  because  of  your  tags  in  the  picture.  

 

Circles  

Circles  are  a  fun  way  to  organize  your  friends,  family,  business  partners,  and  schoolmates.  Circles  are  similar  to  groups  on  Facebook  but  at  a  much  more  organized  and  easier  level.  With  circles  you  can  see  your  friends  profiles.  You  can  start  a  chat  or  a  hangout  from  circles.  A  hangout  is  a  video  chat  that  you  can  have  with  more  than    

Explore  

   Google  Plus  has  an  application  called  explore.  Explore  allows  you  to  view  the  most  popular  posts  on  Google  Plus  around  the  world.  This  post  can  be  a  picture,  saying,  link  or  video  lots  of  people  like  and  share  internationally.  This  option  can  be  useful  because  it  could  update  you  on  a  new  popular  product  or  raise  awareness  about  important  news.  With  this  post  you  can  share  and  like  it.  This  post  will  then  be  on  your  wall  and  be  looked  at  by  your  friends  and  make  it  even  more  popular.    

 

Instructions  to  get  Google  plus  1.  Go  on  safari  and  type  Google  Plus  in  the  search.  

2.  Then  click  on  the  site  Google  Plus  and  click  on  create  account  or  sign  up.  

3.  Then  fill  in  all  information  

4.  Fill  in  the  information.  

5.  Some  information  is  optional  like  the  mobile  phone  number.  This  you  do  not  have  to  fill  in.      

6.    To  make  your  email  address  and  password,  use  your  first  class  login  and  add  .1000cw  

Activity  

1.  Log  on  to  your  account  and  click  on  circles.  

2.  Go  to  the  top  of  the  page  and  search  the  email  to  the  person  on  your  right  by  clicking  “add  a  new  person”  

3.  Classify  them  as  a  friend.  

4.  Start  a  chat  by  clicking  on  chat  on  the  bottom  right  and  enable  it.    

5.  Try  to  find  out  each  others  middle  name.  

Activity  6.  Once  you  have  your  friend’s  middle  name,  email  it  by  using  firstclass  to  bsharer2@gmail.com    with  the  subject  being  your  name.  friends  name
