Already being used at Boston-based Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Google Glass has already saved at least one life by quickly recognizing a medication the patient was allergic.

Google Glass functions the same as

regular eyeglasses, except it features a

touch screen, central processing unit,

wireless microphone camera, and

wireless capabilities. Patients also

expressed a positive response to the

glasses, stating that they were useful for

accessing online billing and looking up

terms with which they were unfamiliar.
