Why Google Classroom?
What engages your students?
Consider the lessons students seemed to be the most engaged in … what caught their attention?
STA Best PracticesThe items listed below are considered our school’s best practices when it comes to using google classroom in support of synchronous and asynchronous learning.
- Google classroom---be mindful of time of day when sending reminders/posting to students
- If assignments are posted on Google Classroom and it is going
to be assessed, a classroom discussion needs to happen
- Google classroom is to be used as a support, not a teacher-replacement
- It is the teacher’s discretion to assign marks on Google
Classroom as long as it is private
