The current one we have is beginning to show signs of wear and breaks down fairly often. When it is in the shop, we have no other printer that can print thousands of envelopes at a time, so we are out of business when that happens. Contact Lens(Reportedly a true story)


Brenda was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff. She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather, during this, her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped against her eye and knocked out her contact lens. ‘Great’, she thought. ‘Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry.’ She looked and looked, hoping that somehow it had landed on the ledge. But it just wasn’t there. She felt the panic rising in her, so she began praying.. She prayed for calm, and she prayed that she might find her contact lens. When she got to the top, a friend examined her eye and her clothing for the lens, but it was not to be found. Although she was calm now that she was at the top, she was saddened because she could not clearly see across the range of mountains. She thought of the Bible verse ‘The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth.’ She thought, ‘Lord, You can see all these mountains. You know every stone and leaf, and You know exactly where my contact lens is. Please help me.’ Later, when they had hiked down the trail to the bottom of the cliff they met another party of climbers just starting up the face of the cliff. One of them shouted out, ‘Hey, you guys! Anybody lose a contact lens?’ Well, that would be startling enough, but you know why the climber saw it? An ant was moving slowly across a twig on the face of the rock, carrying it! The story doesn’t end there. Brenda’s father is a cartoonist. When she told him the incredible story of the ant, the prayer, and the contact lens, he drew a cartoon of an ant lugging that contact lens with the caption, ‘Lord, I don’t know why You want me to carry this thing. I can’t eat it, and it’s awfully heavy. But if this is what You want me to do, I’ll carry it for You.’ I think it would do all of us some good to say, ‘God, I don’t know why You want me to carry this load. I can see no good in it and it’s awfully heavy. But, if You want me to carry it, I will.’

my aggravation on you. Here’s the $25 you asked

for.’ The little boy sat straight up, smiling. ‘Oh, thank you daddy!’ He yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father. ‘Why do you want more money if you already have some?’ the father grumbled. ‘Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do,’ the little boy replied. ‘Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your

time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.’ The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It’s just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter

to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.If we die tomorrow, the

“Dear Brother Joe, I just came back from Bali last week to visit Jimmy Senduk’s family in the village. I want to praise the Lord Almighty that

that He is LORD! The Hindu carpenters have seen by their own eyes this miracle. Last year when the rainy season came



in Bali, Jimmy asked to pray together with them by their faith to the Lord (they call ‘Sang Hyang Widhi’) that, with God’s will, there would be no raining in their area, as they were building at the time. And surprise .... no raining at all in their area (1500 m2) even though all around them it was raining! Discouragement Devil I Thessalonians 5:16,18 “Rejoice evermore. In every

An old legend tells of how a man once stumbled upon a great red barn after wandering for days in the dark, overgrown forest. Seeking refuge from the howling winds of a storm that seemed to rage perpetually in the forest, he let his eyes grow accustomed to the dark. To his astonishment, he discovered that this was the barn

where Satan kept his storehouse of seeds to be sown into human hearts. More curious than fearful, he lit a match and began to explore the piles and bins of seeds around him. He couldn’t help but notice that the containers labeled “seeds of discouragement” far outnumbered any other type of seed. Just as the man had drawn this conclusion, one of Satan’s foremost demons arrived to pick up a fresh supply of seed. The man asked him, “Why the great abundance of discouragement seeds?” The demon laughed, “Because they are so effective and take root so quickly.” The man then asked, “Do they grow everywhere?” At this the demon became sullen. It was a cold December night in West Orange, New Jersey. Thomas Edison’s factory was humming with activity. Work was proceeding on a variety of fronts as the great inventor was trying to turn more of his dreams into practical realities.
