All the Power Generating Stations of APGENCO put together have generated33289.2 M.U in the year 2.007-2008 against the target o( 35012.9 MD. All India averagePLF is 78.7% whereas APGENCO's Thermal Stations PLF registered during the year2.007-08 was 85.7% which is incredible. Hydro Stations availability factor is 91.03%.Thermal Stations have generated/achieved 23685.9 MU against business target of27018.5 MU whereas Hydro generation target was 7994.5 MU, but achieved was 9603.3MU. Various cost cutting measures initiated by the stations and extra efforts put in to sellscrap resulted into savings are Rs. 53.24 Crores in both Thermal & Hydel Stationstogether. The APGENCO has bagged three prestigious awards for the best power utilityin the year 2008 viz.,

i) The India Power Award 2008ii) Enertia Awards 2008 andiii) I.E.E.M.A Power Award 2.008 for KTPS-V Stage.

2. The. Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited after carefulconsideration in order to boost up morale of employees and to step up zeal & enthusiasmamong employees, accords sanction on. one time. basis payment of incentive to all thoseworked in the following Power Stations equivalent to 15 days Salary that is (Basic + D.A)as on 01.04.20.07 to all the employees who worked for six months or more and one weeksalary to all those who worked three months or more. but less than six months andemployees, who have worked less thim three months during the year 01.04.2007 to31.03.2008 are not eligible for any incentive payment.

The above incentive shall be paid as per the principle laid down hereunder to allcategories of employees under Engineering SerVice, Accounts Service, P&G Service,Medical Service, Education Service, O&M Establishment, Security Staff, Fire FightingStaff, Contingent Staff and all employees of Orissa State working in Machkund HydroElectric Scheme and all the employees of Government of Andhra Pradesh on deputationto APGENCO working at Sileru Complex, Machkund Hydro Electric Scheme, SrisailamHydro Electric Project and Trainees connected with the Operation & Maintenance works /-.of the respective Hydel!rhermal based Generating Stations except to those employees twho are working in Construction works! Projects. ,

The period for whi~h the incentive ordered herein shall be reckonedfrom 01.04.2007 to 31.03.2008.

If any trainee is being paid stipend during the training period thestipend amount will 'be reckoned for the purpose of regulating thepayment in lieu of Basic Pay + D.A.The period of authorised leave with Pay and Allowances during thesaid reckoning peridd shall also be taken into consideration forarriving the period oflservice rendered by the employees.
