MBA HR fresher’s who has recently join any organization will come across with several dilemma up & down while working in HR/Personal department. Many new comers who just started their carrier feels pressured , over expected. Hence following guidelines will help them to deal with superior in professional way. On day of joining of the company, first wish your seniors. Go ahead, introduces yourself stating your name, college form which you complete your graduation & PG, small family back ground (if required) and in which position you joined organization . Generally in many Organization , First day, new comers are not supposed to work .Take this as an opportunity ,meet other dept. members . Introduces you self to them and know about their dept work. Soon , start helping your seniors in their works .Many companies assignee one mentor for new joiner to take advantage of mentor or help senior in their work. In both case ,new joiner will gain knowledge . Start making offer letters, appointments letters, confidently agreement per company format. Making/ uploading personal files of all employees and maintaining record of it (record will include every thing, personal exp. Quail. Offer/app.

Hence following guidelines will help them to deal with superior in professional way.

Generally in many Organization , First day, new comers are not supposed to work .Take this as an opportunity ,meet other dept. members . Introduces you self to them and know about their dept work.

Soon , start helping your seniors in their works .Many companies assignee one mentor for new joiner to take advantage of mentor or help senior in their work. In both case ,new joiner will gain knowledge .

Start making offer letters, appointments letters, confidently agreement per company format.

Making/ uploading personal files of all employees and maintaining record of it (record will include every thing, personal exp. Quail. Offer/app. Letter).Maintaining leaves records of every emp. etc. as per company standard .

Updating grievances records of employee and separately maintaining them.

Helping seniors to schedule interview, making interview panel, attending interview and understanding how interview , are done and suitable candidate is selected.

Updating of HRIS (Human Resource Information System).

Learning the process of opening salary bank accounts in pre specified bank by company .

Writing letters of various kinds like proposal s, notices, greetings, circulars termination letters etc.

Try to part of each and every activities regarding Human Resources related activities.

Help to design training calendar and training material .Help Seniors to conduct training session. Be in training, listen every discussion carefully. Note down doubts ask them after session is over.

In many companies, HR look after legal issues, take interest in handling legal issues. Help your seniors to prepare answers of legal issue related to courts/labor inspector/industrial inspector, as this will improve your drafting skills and you will be able to play with right words at right time.

Help seniors to organize official parties , get together to improve your admin part. Take care of every small details and be a good host.

Human Resources generally made policies hence be part of it and share your ideas or views with them.

Learn to work for CSR ( Corporate Social responsibilities). These will enhance your working knowledge.

Try to gain a smuch as knowledge of companies core function eg if company is in construction – visit site with your superiors to understand better function of companies.

Learn new skills, related to company’s work for better understanding of company work.

Working on all of these suggestions or few of them will definitely improve your understanding regarding various Human Resources aspects. This suggestions will not only improve you but will develop a better thinking platform for future growth.
