$250 chapter scholarship will be given out at the end of the semester

ADULT LITERACY ADVOCATES

Tutor adult students who are working to improve reading, writing, English, and test-taking skills

Teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to non-native English speakers twice per week

Volunteers will attend training and then set schedule with the student

Read to a student twice a month throughout the school year at East Baton Rouge Parish School

Provide individualized math assistance to 2nd and 3rd graders throughout the school year at East Baton Rouge Parish School

BIG BUDDY TEEN PROGRAM

Tutor middle and high school students

$150 for a 2-day/wk commitment and $300 for a 4 day/wk commitment, 1 hr/day for the 3 months of service.

Oct.-Dec., Jan.-Mar., 1 hr/day, 2 or 4X/week
