Hello B-3 members, The weather is starting to break and we can enjoy riding bikes and trikes more, remember the other traffic out there as they need to be retrained to watch out for us, so be extra careful, they may not look twice. We have a busy calendar, so check it out and plan to ride with us. May is motorist awareness month, so join us on May 11th for our motorist event. Let’s WOW them and show off our pretty rides. Meet with Gary at Frisch's at 9:30 am and bring your brown bag lunch. May is also the month we celebrate Mothers, so if you’re lucky enough to still have your mother, show her how special she is. Show every Mom's they are loved and admired. Ride safe and enjoy riding with friends for fellowship and fun.

PROSPECTIVE NEW MEMBERS BIKE KIT When you are out and about on your motorcycle would you have any of the following at hand to give someone that you might strike up a conversation with????? I. GWRRA Membership Application...... 2. Hang tags for any bike you might see parked..... 3. Chapter flyer or newsletter...... 4. Copies of past Wing World magazine..... These items will lay flat in the back box, and you could put them in plastic zip lock bag..... When making up your kit, be sure to always fill in your GWRRA member number.... The person you are having a conversation is really showing interest in having a motorcycle (or they have one) you can just about judge what items you may want to give them.... So, always keep in mind that any one we meet and have a great conversation with about riding our Gold Wing and all other motorcycles in general is "ALWAYS" a perspective new member.....Make sure to always invite them to a Chapter meeting..... PLEASE REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING: Bill Ford: his continuing health issues...Pray that he will receive new medications.... Sue Gundy: The passing of her brother Merle (Lurch) Miller Jr. in Theodore, Alabama... Sandy Durbin: Health issues... George Fowler: Going thru treatments for cancer, also remember Jeanie as she goes thru this with him If there is anyone that I have missed please let me know.... Ride safe....Have Fun....Always Wave

Notes from Tom Eden Many of you are aware that I had some health challenges last year. As a result I have added an assortment of prescriptions to my daily routine. I was putting my new “Gold Book” with the items I normally carry on the bike. One of the items is my first aid kit and the other is the GWRRA N12 form. Several items in the first aid kit needed to be replaced and replenished. The N12 needed to be updated for my current situation. I have included a copy of the GWRRA N12 form to the newsletter as a suggestion to all that before we get into riding season, we review and update our personal medical information as needed. The GWRRA N12 is also available on the GWRRA National web site. I have also included the Ohio BMV Form 2437, Notification of Next of Kin, which allows you to provide next of kin information which will be filed with your driver’s license information making it readily available should you be involved in an accident. I picked up and filled out this form several years ago when I was renewing my driver’s license. I provide copies of both forms to all the people I have named as contacts. That way when they are contacted they can provide as much information as possible to whoever contacts them.
May 27th is Memorial Day, let us all pause and thank those that have given their lives for the freedoms that we enjoy.
