DUNIKOWSKI’S FEBRUARY 1935 GOLD SUCCESS
In 1935, there was a signifcant demonstration o Zbigniew’s Metalex Process orgold extraction. his demonstration was considered s!ccess!l b" the ex#ert’s
standards and too$ #lace ater %!ni$ows$i’s release rom #rison. he demonstration
was intended to begin the re&ision o Zbigniew’s co!rt case which was intended to
re&ise the g!ilt" &erdict, and restore his good name. Zbigniew '!estioned how the

was a signifcant mining engineer d!ring that time #eriod. e had been an

2lbert 4onn while in 4r!ssels. 2t that time, he was in a conerence with an
older wealth" 2merican named Mr. Cross who was li&ing in -ondon and whohad some mining interests. Cross decided to come to see me in order to see
this mar&elo!s in&ention which Pa!l -egrand $new abo!t rom the stories that
he had heard. Jhen the both o them came to see me, I showed them a

he" saw the whole #rocess or themsel&es which I had cl!ng to in s#ite o

Pa!l -egrand’s 8N%I8 I I8)O o it. Pa!l -egrand had earned a
certifcate as a @om#an" 8#ecialist. It was rom his own research st!dies that
he had o!nd the name Metalex *condensed MetalBxtraction. e o!nd me
in his reerence boo$ as the #erson who lost the trial in Paris, and that I had
been b!rdened with the costs. e also had o!nd that I had ret!rned the
Metalex name, and I was no longer associated with it. I had ex#lained to him,
howe&er, since it originated rom the wor$ o m" ather, it was now m"
mother who was the legal heir to Metalex. 8ince m" mother was alread"
elderl", it wo!ld then be #assed down to m" older brother 8tanislaw. 8ince
Pa!l -egrand had $nown 8tanislaw or a long time, 8tanislaw wo!ld act as
Pa!l’s co!nsel in his in&ol&ement in this b!siness.
Cross was interested in this #ro(ect, reall" en(o"ed it, and decided to
#artici#ate. Je all disc!ssed the b!siness together. Je decided that i webro!ght the Metalex @om#an" to -ichtenstein we wo!ld not be #a"ing h!ge

and meanwhile, we wo!ld search or a #erson or gro!# that co!ld gi&e !s the

Cross had decided to (!st in&est in a small wa" in the b!siness as one o the

2t this time and in the !t!re, Cross and Pa!l -egrand had made certain
agreements to contrib!te certain amo!nts o mone". he" became obligated
to me to s!##l" minerals rom the mines o -a$e angan"i$a, since Cross was
a !t!re shareholder in that mining o#eration. In all o these assignments, I
recei&ed tem#orar" signed recei#ts !ntil the arri&al o m" brother when the"
wo!ld re#lace an" obligations into shares or the Metalex @om#an" and whenPa!l -egrand had an o7ce rom where he co!ld direct the @om#an".
2t the same time and on behal o A. @harles -egend and 2lbert 4onn who had
tra&eled to 8an emo, I reGected on m" need or more mone" or this
b!siness. I was obligated to loo$ at osenBMilde. hese g!"s tried m"
#roced!re thro!gh their ex#ert engineer. e insisted that he wanted to
immediatel" fnance the #!rchase o the machiner" which was at m" ormer
location at @a# Martin. &ent!all", there were three fnancial gro!#s in this
and the" are as ollows>

I decided to !nite the three com#anies in a common com#an" !nder the
name o Metalex. I also decided to #!t into this gro!# m" mother and her
co!nsel who was m" brother, 8tanislaw. Je created a com#an" which
bro!ght together the #roced!re and the #artnershi# in order o descent.
hese gro!#s were bro!ght together to orm, or the time being, a
