are repelling the new/

potential members, and the

goal of the site is not being

achieved. Therefore, we are

Minecraft 1.4 is out! There is a new boss, more

mobs, potions, and blocks! Some have scary twists!

This update is Halloween themed, so there are 2

new Halloween mobs, the Bat and the Witch!

So Update your Minecraft today!

Some 1.4 features:

New sound effects for the Wither, Bats, the Anvil

and Ender Dragon.

Flatworld configuration now allows you to generate

trees, strongholds etc.

Slimes now spawn in Swamp biomes at low light

level.

The Wither is a floating, three-

headed, ghostly mob with a skel-

etal appearance. It is the second

boss mob

introduced,

after the

Ender Drag-

on. The

Wither

shoots With-

er Skulls,

which look

like extra

heads of it-

self launched as projectiles and it

can keep up a fairly constant bar-

rage of them. Upon contact, a

Wither Skull will explode, alt-

hough with a blast radius much

smaller than that of TNT or a

Creeper. Unlike the Ender Drag-

on, the Wither's boss health bar

is only shown when a player is

looking in a direction of a With-

er, at least in the current imple-

mentation, and it can also be

seen through walls when the

player is looking in the Wither.

The game

Terraria is a land of adventure! A land of mystery! A land that's yours to shape, to

defend and to enjoy. Your options in Terraria are limitless. Are you an action

gamer with an itchy trigger finger? A master builder? A collector? An explorer?

There's something for everyone here.

Getting Started:

To create a character, one must first pick a game mode to play: Single Player or

Multiplayer.

It is recommended to choose single player if it is the player's first time playing

Terraria due to the game's steep learning curve.

After choosing which mode to play; click the Create Character button to create a

character. Once at Character creation screen; the first four options are presented:

Hair, Eyes, Skin, and Clothes.

There are 36 hairstyles to choose from, as well as their color.

The Clothes menu has four more options to choose from.

Looks do not affect any aspect of the game, and therefore are purely cosmetic.

In order to pick colors, the Red/Green/Blue (RGB) values must be set to a num-

ber between 0 and 255. For example, in order to get a white color, the RGB must

be Red: 255, Green: 255, Blue: 255. There must be a minimum of 150 in all slots

total, which means black cannot be chosen, but can be closely approximated set-

ting all values to 50.

A Difficulty must be chosen. Difficulty will affect what happens to the character's

items, their coins, and even the character itself upon death. There is currently no

other difference between modes otherwise.
