    God's Comfort"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and Iwill give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn fromMe, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find restfor your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is

    light. Matthew 11:28-30

    "...we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, sothat we despaired even of life. Yes, we had the sentenceof death in ourselves, that we should not trust in

    ourselves but in God..." 2 Corinthians 1:8-9

    If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did

    not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all,how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?Who shall bring a charge against Gods elect? It is Godwho justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ whodied, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the righthand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

    "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shalltribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, ornakedness, or peril, or sword? ... Yet in all these thingswe are more than conquerors through Him who loved usFor I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angelsnor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor thingsto come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing,

    shall be able to separate us from the love of God which isin Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:31-39

    "Whom have I in heaven but You?And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.My flesh and my heart fail;But God is the strength of my heart and my portion

    forever." Psalm 73:25-26

    "Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though ouroutward man is perishing, yet the inward man is beingrenewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but fora moment [as seen from God's eternity], is working for us a

    far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while wedo not look at the things which are seen, but at the thingswhich are not seen. For the things which are seen aretemporary, but the things which are not seen are

    eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

    "Call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and

    you shall glorify me." Psalm 50:15

    They shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:28-31

    The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because theLord has anointed MeTo preach good tidings to the poor;

    glorified.Isaiah 61:1-3

    "As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfortyou;

    And you shall be comfortedin Jerusalem. Isaiah
