What is Oversight?

Oversight is a web-based monitoring system

• The GO Real-Time Reusable sends temperature and location data continuously to Oversight.

• Intelligent email or text alerts are sent to you based on your specific parameters.

• Reports and shipment details are accessible online 24/7.

• Oversight is available via your iPhone or Android mobile application.

• 50-60 days of battery life with a 6 minute recording and 18 minute reporting interval.

• Low Battery Notifications

Activation of GO Tracker

Activate the device to start recording data

Pull Tab to Activate Blue Light will appear Peel off serial number Adhesive Tape

Place GO in pouch

In your box of GO Trackers you will receive clear shipping pouches and instructions in English and Spanish.

The blue light indicates the device is operational and transmitting data in real-time to your portal.

Peel off serial number sticker from the top of the device and place it on your BOL or Manifest.

Peel off adhesive tape for adhering to the pallet

or place your device in shipping pouch for extra layer of protection.

Please ensure your team

references the activate by date and follows the FIFO method.


Placement of GO Tracker

We recommend placing the tracker on the last pallet closest to the doors or on top of the last pallet.Do not place the tracker inside of product or between pallets.

Pause/Un-Pause Feature while Charging

Pause Option

Relaunching Tracker will un-pause device

While you are charging your device (Subscription Customers only), to disable temperature data Pause your device via Oversight or Oversight Mobile App.If you want to have data while it is charging, but do not want to receive alerts, suppress the alerts via Oversight.

Relaunching your tracker will un-pause the device and it will start uploading data to Oversight.

Pause Icon will appear when the pause feature is

enabled

Suspend/Resume AlertsExample: If your trucks are traveling back to the shipping point without product and you do not need to monitor temperatures.

By Pausing your device it does not save battery life.


How does Oversight know when to send alerts?1. Go to the Emerson Homepage to login: Emerson.com/Oversight

2. Click on OVERSIGHT LOGIN

3. Enter your Username (Email) and Password - Prior to training you will receive a login.• Tip: Select “Remember Me” to easily login next time.

4. Select Create a Shipment to set specific parameters to your device to receive real-

time alerts.

Create a Shipment and Relaunching

Entering Trip Details to receive real-time alerts via email

Select a Trip Template

Enter the 10-digit Serial Number

Enter Trip Name: Order Number, BOL Number, Purchase Order Number, etc.Select/Create Origin Location

Select Departure Date/Time

Add Stops (if applicable)

Select this feature to enable No destination required. The device will record data until the battery depletes.

Do not select this option if you want to relaunch the same tracker on multiple trips.

Trip templates will populate the information in orangeRelaunch your tracker or use No Destination required feature


Create a Shipment

Choose temperature range and cool down type

Select No Temperature Required (if applicable)

Select/Create Temperature Range

Select the cool down type if you are precooling your shipment. • Suppress the alerts for 1 or 4 hours

or have No alert suppression.

Enter Carrier Name

Enter any additional Alert Contacts to receive alerts on this specific shipment. Alert Escalation Levels

Alert Time Zone will default to your Oversight setting.

Oversight Navigating & Relaunching Trackers

Select Shipments Tab to view specific trips.

Select View drop down to see specific shipment’s trip status

Track your shipments by entering the trip name or serial number in the search box

Relaunch Trackers to associate a new Trip. You can only relaunch completed trips.

Suspending Alerts allows the tracker to stay on but stop the alerts from generating to your email inbox.

We can import Temperature Ranges (upper and lower limits required) based on the commodity you are shipping.When the temperature exceeds the range, Oversight will send you a real-time notification via email.

Anyone you would like to have access to your Oversight web portal. Three levels of access:

1. User – Access to shipments and pull reports2. Trip Manager – Able to create shipments via

Oversight3. Admin – Access to shipments, edit shipments, and

able to create new locations.
