Primary Goals- GFP:
“Create a football environment adopting best practice in coaching and team organisational skills to give players and coaches every chance to develop their personal skill set technically, physically and mentally.”
1.Coach the Coaches – Education in football (create “coaching tool box”)2.Advise the Coaches – Education in organisation skills 3.Change current structure – turn RHFC into a team of coaches (academy to senior)4.Find, adopt, implement a “Harps Style” of play. (e.g. 4-3-3 embrace FAI ETP)5.Create internal support structure - helping each other6.Understanding that change not for sake of change – change for improvement7.Preparation – getting ready for 2015/16 season now8.Coaching framework/strategy – “The Ratoath Harps Way”9.Analyse other successful clubs – copy strengths, avoid weaknesses10.Find own true identity (end on-going community v competitive debate) bespoke solutions.
GFP is inclusive of Academies, SSG, 11-a-side NDSL, MGL and Senior structures.

Updates:
Mick and Des to attend FAI presentation to NDSL Monday 9th March re future of football in Ireland incl allignment of under age calendar to match League of Ireland
NDSL meeting 23rd February – summer football in 2015 for under 8’s and under 9’s pilot scheme – will be happening.
Aidan McHugh looking into setting up password protected coaches corner on RHFC website containing all documents including the workshop printouts.
Suggestions from coaches coming in fast – good content, all welcome – create focus groups within wider coaching forum to examine and deliver
Numerous teams now using the recommended RHFC warm ups.
Next workshops will be planned for week 15 and 17 in April.
Between now and then:
Meetings with coaches individually to discuss their own GFP for season 2015/16Coaching committee panel available to assist with individual training sessions.Coaches meeting – discussion panels on set agenda circulated in advance

Examples of suggestions received:
Setting up Roster – take setting up away from ”first on” teams - allow coaches to focus on warm up etcs
Equipment pooling – access to all for equipment not regularly used in training sessions in secure club storage
Create a database that we all add to regularly with directions and maps to various grounds 0 beneficial to new coaches
Standardise the way equipment is put away – easy access for taking out e.g. ”butterfly” the ssg goals
