Here’s what I sent Sandra it’s the full email.

---------- Forwarded message ---------From: Chelle McDaniel Date: Tue, Jul 30, 2019 at 5:24 PMSubject: Wolber DocsTo: [email protected]

This incident report is to let RRISD know of things that have happened that couldpotentially affect their school district involving a past teacher named Aaron Wolber andthe head of the school board Charles Chad Chadwell

Aaron currently has an open case against the RRISD. Aaron and Charles have been incommunication since the end of Aaron’s school board hearing in December. Aaron hastried to help Charles promote his business “strap wings” to gain favor with the schoolboard head. Aaron set up a business meeting with Charles and a potential investor(meeting took place 9:00 am on March 15th, 2019 at Rudy’s Country Store in RoundRock off 35) to help launch Caldwell’s idea off the ground and Aaron was evenconsidering how he could gain a piece of Chadwell’s business if it had launched as aninvestor. Aaron and Charles have had coffee a few times and have had discussions aboutAaron’s next steps against RRISD and specifically Flores and the happenings (thingsAaron didn’t go too much into details with with me nor do I have other specific datesother than the dinner Aaron and Chadwell had December 15th after 5:00pm). Aaron’sattorney was planning on not being the head of Aarons case and planning on giving it toa lower level attorney until he found out Aaron and Charles have been in communicationand have a close relationship. He said that this was “VERY GOOD” for Aaron and thatbecause he had an in that this could be pushed forward for Aaron with more favorabilityfrom members inside the school district (I.E. a larger settlement for Aaron). This was awin for Aaron because Charles could persuade the board members to just settle withAaron since Chadwell had called what had happened to Aaron wrong in December whenhe took a stand for Aaron in the final hearing. Aaron was very careful not to text Charlesjust in case this relationship ended up being beneficial for Aaron’s lawsuit. Charles saidhe too has an issue with the superintendent and has gotten an attorney to documentinformation between the him and Flores just in case any “wrong steps were taken againsthim”. Charles is disgruntled that Flores hired police for the school district without hisapproval, and made comments such as “you know when there’s a bunch of black peopleyou’ve never seen before at a school board hearing about a new black police officer youdidn’t approve hiring of, you do some research”. Charles made claims that the blackpeople who were there to promote this new police division did not live in the

  • neighborhood and were family members of the police officer who Flores hired. Both him and Aaron Wolber have stated that they want to see Flores removed for “corruption”.

Aaron and Charles had a conversation the morning of July 11th, where Aaron called Charles and stated to Charles the details of his charges, and that he wanted Chadwell to know he was filing these charges in advanced so that Charles could point to the school board and say “see, I told you this is why you should have listened to me because look what has happened now”. Charles new of the lawsuit coming before the school district was served. It was discussed that this would allow Charles to have more standing with the newer members of the school board who were not present and are not as informed to the details of the hearing back in the fall/winter. This would help sway them in Chadwell’s favor as well as help promote Aaron’s “validity” to why he should win this case. Aaron and Charles have discussed in details the matters of Aaron’s pending case against RRISD, and what the charges Aaron was filing for. Charles was in agreement with Aaron and cheered him on (due to them both being Christian males taking a stand against “corruption”) and agreed to help him out because what happened to Aaron was wrong. Aaron told Charles that he could not talk to Charles anymore because it would look fishy and decrease his odds of wining a larger amount of money for Aaron’s case. The two agreed and said it would be hard to prove they were ever in communication because it was all done via phone calls and meeting up and only one text message was exchanged. Due to Aaron’s relationship with the school board head, his case has been taken more seriously by his attorney and it in theory helps “take down Flores and his corruption”.

Charles has discussed happenings in school board meetings where he disclosed that Carpenter would call Charles out for standing up for Aaron in the school board meetings and told Aaron that Sandra has been slandering Aaron’s name as someone who is harming children. Charles made it clear that Carpenter must have a “guilty conscience” because she keeps brings up his name in every school board meeting to make an example of Aaron and slander his name. Aaron and Charles discussed that this may be means for a countersuit of defamation on top of the charges Aaron has already filed against Sandra Carpenter personally. Aaron and his attorney talked about pursuing these charges separately, but decided not to because it would disclose the relationship between Charles and Aaron and would potentially affect Aaron’s chances of winning against RRISD. They didn’t want to draw attention to the fact that Charles may be discussing private school board meetings.

    Gayla,

As a follow up to our discussion Tuesday afternoon here are a few more details that hopefully clarifythe sequence of events regarding my interactions with Aaron Wolber. I couldn’t remember all thedates, so I looked through my notes and emails. I don’t like it when someone is asked questions thenthey keep repeating “I don’t remember/recall” because it sounds intentionally evasive. My intentionis to cooperate fully with your investigation.

1 – Aaron called me 12/15/18, He could have gotten my number from a web search or fromnumerous community members.2 – Attached are texts between us about meeting that evening at Torchy’s and the subsequent texts.3 – Below is the email exchange started when I told him about my StrapWing that evening and hecontacted me via the link on it. It was prompted by a general discussion of our respectivebackgrounds.4 – I met with his friend Kevin Castello (mentioned below) about his work as an adjunct Baylor MBAinstructor. Kevin and I didn’t say anything about Aaron other than he seems to be doing well with hisreal estate business.5 – On 3/4/19, Aaron emailed me (below), and we met a few days later at Juarez Bakery which iswhere he mentioned his trucker friends and Facebook advertising. He mentioned the possibility ofgoing forward with a suit against RRISD, but he didn’t say anything about it other than that.6 – The following Friday we met at Rudy’s with his two trucker friends.

All three of the times we met were in public, so we could have been seen by many people withoutmy knowledge. The only person I saw affiliated with RRISD was CTE director Sherri Bonds at Torchy’s,but that was only briefly.

I didn’t hear from him again until 6/11/19 when he called to say his attorney would be filing the suitagainst RRISD, and he wouldn’t be able to talk anymore. It was about a three-minute call, and Ithanked him for letting me know. He didn’t say when, how much, or anything else about it. TheRRISD Administration should have informed the board as soon as it was notified.

In our discussions:I didn’t say anything about giving preferential treatment if he filed a suit.I didn’t ask for nor did he offer to invest in StrapWing. I’m self-funding it and wouldn’t asksomeone I barely know for an investment.I didn’t say anything about Jeffrey Yarbrough and the black community. There were peoplewho posted online after the townhall meetings where Jefferey’s cohorts spoke, so thatinformation was readily accessible by anyone.

  • In the 11 years I’ve been a trustee, I’ve been contacted by many community members about RRISDwhich I consider a responsibility and a right. I also have the right to talk to any employee unlessthey’re under investigation. Since Aaron was no longer employed or under investigation, I took hiscall then met with him. It’s ironic the person who called Sandra gathered several contentious topics and put them in oneemail. It seems the caller knows RRISD and Sandra well enough to contact her directly instead ofgoing through the Lighthouse hotline.  Regards,Chad Charles “Chad” ChadwellPresidentMain: 512-522-6806Cell: 512-740-5218Direct: [email protected]   Website: www.strapwing.com
