Eligibility for WIA Title I ServicesWC Policy 3.0Adult Category
• Must be 18 years of age or older and provide proof of age.• If male, must comply with Selective Service registrationrequirements. (www.sss.gov)• Must show proof of citizenship or eligibility to work in theUnited States.• Must provide documentation of Social Security number.• Must provide proof of residency in Southern Nevada.
Dislocated Worker Eligibility
Eligibility for WIA Title I ServicesWC Policy 3.0
Dislocated Worker Category (1 of 4 categories must bemet for registration)1. An individual who has been laid off or terminated, orhas received notice of termination from employer2. An individual who has been laid off or terminated dueto a plant closure.3. An individual who was self employed but isunemployed due to general economic conditions.4. A displaced homemaker.
GOALS•To increase employment, as measured by entry into unsubsidized employment;
•To increase retention in unsubsidized employment six months after entry into employment;
•To increase earnings received in unsubsidized employment for adults and dislocated workers; and
•To enhance customer satisfaction for participants and for employers.
