Air sensor

Position:

In sensor holder in the evaporator module, snapped in at the front.

Depending on this sensor- the compressor switches ON/OFF.

- the fan switches OFF.

- the display value is generated.

Position:

Inserted in lamellar evaporator.

Depending on this sensor- the defrosting phase is ended.

- the fan switches ON/OFF.

Defrost heater, defrosting phase

Position:

Clipped into the lamellar evaporator and conducted spirally in the defrost drain.

Defrosting phase is initiated- during start-up after 3 hours cumulative compressor running time.- during normal operation after 10 - 60 hours cumulative compressor running time, depending on the number/duration of the door openings.Defrosting phase is ended- when freezer compartment evaporator sensor has reached +22°C- when max. defrosting time of 50 minutes has been reached.

Procedure

• Disengage locking lug and detach connector.

• Disengage locking lugs on LED unit.

• Raise LED unit with light cover for removal.

Procedure

• Door magnet is clipped into the faceplate above the door seal.

• Press the locating lug in a little and lever out the door magnet.

To remove the catches

• Unclip the catches using a screwdriver.

• Draw the catches inwards for removal.

Evaporator module





Polystyrene moulding

Remove the adhesive tape securing the "top polystyrene moulding" in transit, which is no longer required for assembly.

Evaporator module• Lift out the evaporator sensor.

• Temperature fuse, undo screw.

Sensor is cut off and repaired using repair kit (with repair instructions).

• Press vane back and off the motor shaft and lift out the vane.

• Detach the fan.





To remove the polystyrene moulding

• Remove the polystyrene moulding from the front panel of the evaporator module.

• Unclip the air sensor from the holder.

Sensor is cut off and repaired using repair kit (with repair instructions).





To remove cover

• Disengage marked retaining clips.

• First draw the cover out in a downward direction and then lift it for removal.

To pull out slide-in unit

• Pull off front PCB connector.

• Release strain relief (screw) of the supply cable.

• Disengage the slide-in unit at the marked locations and pull it forwards for removal.

• Pull off rear PCB connector.

Starting and selecting functions

The customer menu provides extended functions for the customer to set on the appliance.

Start of customer menu: Press "SuperFrost" for approx. 5 sec.

Display: "MENU" flashes and "c" appears in the display

Functions: c Child lock : All function buttons active except for "ON/OFF"

h Brightness display : Setting of temperature displaybrightness from h0 to h5 (max. brightness)

Starting and selecting functions

The service menu comprises functions and testing options for the service technicians as well as activation/deactivation of a demo mode.

Start of service menu: Press "Up" + "ON/OFF" simultaneously for approx. 5 sec.

Panel test cannot be ended in step 2, for example; it has to be performed in full.Should a button/reed contact be defective, no beep sounds for confirmation and the appliance does not switch OFF.The appliance then has to be unplugged and plugged back in again.
