Introduction

Opportunity

Global Marketing International (GMI) are a marketing

communications company working with Blue Chip companies around

the world to provide much needed and appropriate directional road signage in the

Caribbean.

Through a strategic alliance with the Government of the Caribbean we are working to erect high quality

road signs which conform to international standards such as Britain’s Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions

(TSRGD) observed in many countries around the world.

GMI’s directional road signage colour scheme comprises of: White on blue for motorways or highways; white on dark green for primary

routes with yellow road names; and black on white for secondary routes. Our mission is to collaborate with local authorities to ensure a unique and special

visitor experience.

Our responsibility is to erect highly visible signs with legible content to aid local and visiting road users to move around the Caribbean with relative ease and simplicity.

Signs will be placed at major roads, highway junctions, prominent tourism sites and so on guaranteeing high visibility.

A select number of clients will be invited to partner with the local authorities in erecting signs seen by hundreds of thousands of locals and visitors alike each week.

In September 2008, GMI delivered eighty-one (81) international standard directional road signs to the government and people of Antigua. These signs were designed in London; manufactured in Asia and sponsored by businesses local to Antigua over a period of two years under the auspices of the Antigua Ministry of Tourism. The companies which supported this initiative are Stanford Financial Ltd; Cable & Wireless; and B Mobile communications.
