Then, I read the scripture over and over many times. I willcontinue to read it until I have a clear understanding of what

that scripture is saying to me personally. I will begin to thinkabout the scripture and what God is saying to me through it. I

will analyze, ponder and take the scripture apart in my mind.

Finally, I will mutter the scripture to myself out loud (I’ll talk itto myself).

EXAMPLE - How I take God’s Medicine (with my mouth &

out loud):

“I bless you Lord with all my soul – I thank You for ALL your benefits – You have forgiven ALL my iniquities and all my sin,

and healed ALL, ALL, ALL my diseases. I thank You Father,

that You sent Your Word to heal. Your Word says you heal

ALL my diseases. I thank You, Father, Your Word is causing

health to come to my physical body. I thank You, Father, that

healing is a benefit of our covenant. I will not forget your

benefits, you forgave my sin and healed my diseases!”

I repeat this process of taking God’s medicine until the healing

is totally complete.

DO NOT TAKE ONE DOSE AND QUIT! (You cannot O.D.on the Word)

Find the scriptures that mean something special to you. Follow

the directions on taking “God’s Medicine”, and then give it timeto work!

YOUR HEART HAS NO CHOICE; IT MUST RESPOND

TO THE WORD!!!

IT ALWAYS WORKS WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR

MEDICINE.

Healing Scriptures for a Broken Heart

These Curses Christ Has Redeemed Us From

(See Galatians 3:13)

Deuteronomy 28: 21, 22, 27, 28, 35, 59-61

[28] The Lord shall smite thee with madness, and blindness,

and astonishment of heart: [65]And among those nations

you shall find no rest, nor shall the sole of your foot have a

resting place; but there the Lord will give you a trembling

heart, failing eyes, and anguish of soul.” – KJ

Verse 28, Madness: …Distracted… Crazed in thy wits – KNOX

…Fear and panic – LB

…Confusion of heart – LEESER

…Bewilderment – NEB

Verse 65, Trembling heart:

…a despairing heart – NIV…failing appetite – NEB

Sorrow of mind:…an anxious mind – NIV

NOTE: Galatians 3:13: “The law put a curse on us, but Christ

took away that curse!!” – DEAF. We have been redeemed

from all these things!!!

Galatians 3:13-14

“[13] Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the Law,

being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed iseveryone that hangeth on a tree. [14] That the blessing of

Trust in the Lord and take courage…He will strengthen your

So cheer up! Take courage if you are depending on the Lord! –

Psalms 34:18

The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, Andsaves such as have a contrite spirit. – KJ

The LORD is there to rescue all who are discouraged and have

given up hope. – CEV

The LORD is near to those who are discouraged; he saves thosewho have lost all hope. – GN

If your heart is broken, you'll find GOD right there; if you're

kicked in the gut, he'll help you catch your breath. – MESS

The Lord is near the broken-hearted; he is the saviour of thosewhose spirits are crushed down. – BASIC

Jehovah is nigh to those that are of a broken heart… - DARBY

Near is Jehovah to the broken of heart, And the bruised of spirit

Psalm 69:20, 32-33

“[20] Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of

heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was

none; and for comforters, but I found none. [32]…Your

heart shall live that seek God. [33] For the Lord heareth the

poor, and despiseth not his prisoners. …” – KJ

Verse 20:

I am crushed by insults, and I feel sick. I had hoped for mercyand pity, but there was none. – CEV

Insults have broken my heart, and I am in despair. I had hoped

for sympathy, but there was none; for comfort, but I foundnone. – GN

The shame has crushed me! I am about to die from shame. I

waited for sympathy, but none could be found. I waited forsome person to comfort me, but no person came. – ETR

…I couldn't find one shoulder to cry on. – MESS

Verse 32:

…The hearts of those who worship God will be strengthened. –

…your heart will be restored who inquire of Elohim. – URIM

…you who are lovers of God, let your hearts have life. –

… God-seeking hearts will revive. – GRAIL

Verse 33:For Yahweh hears the needy, And doesn't despise his captive

people. – WEB

For the LORD hears the cries of his needy ones; he does not

despise his people who are oppressed. – NLT

For, a Hearkener to the needy, is Yahweh – RHM

For GOD listens to the poor, He doesn't walk out… - MESS

…The Lord still likes people in prison. – ETR

Psalm 73:26

“My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of

my heart, and my portion for ever.” – KJ

My body and my heart may grow weak. God, you give strengthto my heart. You are everything I will ever need. – NIRV

My flesh and my heart fail; but my hearts rock and my portion

is God forever. – GSPD

My flesh and my heart may grow weak, but God alwaysprotects my heart and gives me stability. – NET

My health fails; my spirit droop, yet God remains! He is the

strength of my heart; he is mine forever! – LB

You are all I have, Lord. I am depending entirely upon you.My flesh and my courage are at a low ebb, but you come on

strong as the strength of my life. – FRESH

Psalm 112:7-8

“[7] He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed,

trusting in the Lord. [8] His heart is established, he shall not

He is not afraid of receiving bad news; his faith is strong, and

he trusts in the Lord… - GN

He shall not worry over bad news, for he trust in the Lord… -

FRESH

They aren’t afraid when bad news comes. They stand firm

because they trust in the Lord. Their hearts are secure. Theyaren’t afraid. – NIRV

His faith is not shaken by bad news because his heart is fixed on

God, and he trusts all things to the Lord. He feels secure andunafraid… - CW

He does not fear bad news, nor live in dread of what may

happen. For he is settled in his mind that Jehovah will take careof him. That is why he is not afraid but can calmly face his

foes. – LB

Psalm 147:3

“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their

wounds.” – KJ

Healing He brings to the broken-hearted. – WAY

He is healing the brokenhearted ones, and is binding up their

“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken

A glad heart is excellent medicine, a spirit depressed wastes thebones away. – JERU

A cheerful heart makes a quick recovery; it is crushed spirits

that waste a man’s frame. – KNOX

A joyful attitude is real good medicine, while a gloomy spiritmakes your bones ache. – FRESH

A joyful heart is good medicine, but depression drains one’s

strength. – GW

A happy heart is a healing medicine… – GSPD

Isaiah 61:1

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the

LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the

meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, toproclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the

prison to them that are bound;” - KJ

The spirit of the Lord is on me, because I am marked out by himto give good news to the poor; he has sent me to make the

broken-hearted well, to say that the prisoners will be made free,and that those in chains will see the light again. – BASIC

The Spirit of the Lord God is on me, because the Lord has

chosen me to bring good news to poor people. He has sent meto heal those with a sad heart. He has sent me to tell those who

are being held and those in prison that they can go free. – NL

The Lord my Master put his Spirit in me. God chose me to tellgood news to poor people and to comfort sad people… – ETR
