Greetings!

PFA group assignment.

We have attached the Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement and Income

Statement for Indian Heritage Restaurant.

Answer to the question :It can be seen from the income statement that they have incurred a loss of

Rs 419100 as on 31stJul'2009. Moreover that have unpaid expenses of Rs336500. This can be seen from the Balance Sheet same can be matched fromthe cash flow statement.

But, it can also be seen from the income statement that the gross margin(revenues - cogs) is approx 60% of revenues. This shows that the gross

margin is good enough for the restaurant business but the operatingexpenses are so high that the restaurant is incurring a loss of Rs 419100.

So, going forward, the restaurant has not only to pay the unpaid amount of

Rs 336500 but it has to also reduce the operating expenses, so that it canmake profits in future.
