1.0 INTRODUCTION TO THE GM PARTNER PROGRAM

1.1 WELCOME TO THE GM PARTNER PROGRAM

As an employee of a valued Partner of GM Holden we want you to reward you with access

to special discounts and offers on a range of vehicles including Holden, HUMMER and Saab.

The GM Partner program gives you a genuine opportunity to purchase selected GM vehicles

at discounted prices. With a wide range of models to choose from, there is a GM vehicle to

suit your budget and your style.

We expect that you will fi nd the program simple, fast and enjoyable to use. In fact you can

create your Partner Program Discount Certifi cate in just a few simple steps.

1. Login to the Partner Program at www.gmpartnerprogram.com.au

2. Create your Discount Certifi cate through the Build & Price or Current Offers method

3. Print out your Certifi cate

4. Visit your preferred Holden Dealer and negotiate your best price. Then present your

GM Partner Program Certifi cate for savings above the best price you have negotiated

with your Dealer.

This User Guide is here to take you through each step in the process, providing all the

information you need to know along the way.

2.0 HOW TO ACCESS THE GM PARTNER PROGRAM

2.1 SELECT YOUR RELEVANT CATEGORY

Employees of eligible Partner Program organisations will be able to access the GM Partner

Program online by pointing a browser to www.gmpartnerprogram.com.au

Begin by selecting the radio button ‘Partner Employee’ and the screen will

adjust based on your selection.

2.2 PARTNER USER WITH WORK EMAIL ADDRESS

All Partner Users with a work email address (eg: joe.smith@abccompany.com.au) need to

click the link “First time user” the fi rst time they access this program.

Enter your work email address in the email address text fi eld and click on

‘EMAIL MY PASSWORD’

Please note, screen examples may have subtle differences depending on your preferred browser.

All screen examples in this user guide are from Mozilla FireFox version 2.0.0.11.

2.0 HOW TO ACCESS THE GM PARTNER PROGRAM

You will be brought to this screen that confi rms a default password to access the program

has been automatically sent to your work email address. You should receive it within

a few minutes. Select ‘Back to login page’ to return to the original login screen. You now

have the information you need to complete your fi rst login to the Partner Program, using

your default password.

Enter your work email address and new default password into the relevant fi elds

and click on ‘LOGIN’.

Enter all the requested information into the relevant fi elds. You now have the opportunity

to set up a permanent password that you can use every time you access the Partner

Program. Enter the new password, which must be 7 characters and contain capital letters,

lower-case letters and numbers, then select ‘Submit’.

If your company has enabled printing options this will appear on your screen. Select

an option by choosing to print yourself or requesting that your GM Partner Program

representative prints the Certifi cate for you.

This screen confi rms all of your details. If they are correct select ‘SAVE’ and you will proceed

directly to the Terms & Conditions page. Or if any of the information is incorrect select

‘MAKE CHANGES’. After you have entered the correct information you will proceed directly

to the Terms & Conditions page.

2.3 PARTNER USER WITHOUT WORK EMAIL ADDRESS

If you are an employee of an eligible Partner Program organisation and you don’t have a

work email address you need to see your company’s GM Partner Program representative to

obtain a default email address (eg: hr@abccompany.com.au) and password.

Once you have this information enter it into the relevant fi elds and select ‘LOGIN’.

2.3 PARTNER USER WITHOUT WORK EMAIL ADDRESS

Enter all the requested information into the relevant fi elds. You now have the opportunity

to enter the email address of your existing personal account (eg: steveg@hotmail.com).

You will now use this to login instead of the default email address provided to you by your

company’s GM Partner Program representative.

You also set up a permanent password to replace the default one issued by HR,

that you can use every time you access the GM Partner Program. Enter the new password,

which must be 7 characters and contain capital letters, lower-case letters and numbers,

then select ‘SUBMIT’.

If your company has enabled printing options this will appear on your screen. Select

an option by choosing to print yourself or requesting that your GM Partner Program

representative prints the Certifi cate for you.

2.0 HOW TO ACCESS THE GM PARTNER PROGRAM

When using a personal email account to logon, any Discount Certifi cates generated by

you will need the prior approval of your company’s GM Partner Program representative

before being sent to your personal email address. This approval process will be facilitated

automatically through the website.

This screen confi rms all of your details, including the email address you will be receiving

offers at. If the all the listed information is correct select ‘SAVE’ and you will proceed

directly to the Terms & Conditions page. Or if any of the information is incorrect select

‘MAKE CHANGES’. After you have entered the correct information you can select ‘SAVE’

on the following screen to proceed directly to the Terms & Conditions Page.

A Terms & Conditions page will appear after each successful login to the Partner Program.

Read and accept the terms and conditions then select ‘CONTINUE’ to proceed.

You will then move to the GM Partner Program homepage.

3.1 PARTNER PROGRAM HOMEPAGE

This page contains information about GM Holden products, policies and Dealerships.

1 Select ‘Manage Your Account’ to adjust any of your personal details

or to change your password.

2 Adjust the brand toggle to switch between Holden, Saab and HUMMER products.

3 Select ‘Build And Price Vehicle’ or ‘Enter Build And Price’ to build your own vehicle by

choosing a vehicle model, colour, engine type and accessories.

4 Select ‘More Details’ under the Current Offers to view existing deals on certain models.

5 Subscribe to the eNewsletter to be kept up to date on all the latest Holden offers and

company news.

6 Every time you login to the Partner Program the number of vehicle purchases you have

remaining will be displayed.

7 By selecting ‘Download Special Offer Alerts’, you will install a widget fi le on your

computer. When installed, it will alert you to the latest news and offers on the

GM Partner Program site.

This section allows you to build your own vehicle and generate your Discount Certifi cate,

in a few easy steps.

After clicking on the ‘Build and Price’ link you will be presented with a vehicle brand specifi c

confi gurator. Follow the on-screen instructions.

This page confi rms your discount entitlement, comprising the vehicle details and optional

extras selected.

Select ‘ACCEPT OFFER’ to proceed with the offer.

Note that by selecting ‘BUILD ANOTHER’ you lose all data collected from previous offers.

3.4 CERTIFICATE REDEMPTION PROCESS – CURRENT OFFERS

Current Offers display vehicle and accessory offers relevant to the brand you have selected.

To generate a Discount Certifi cate:

1.Select ‘Current Offer’

2. Select ‘View Offer Details’ which will provide you with more specifi c details of the offer.

3. Select ‘ACCEPT OFFER’

(a Discount Certifi cate will be emailed to your work email address, or to your Partner

Program representative for approval if you are using a personal email address)

4. Print the Discount Certifi cate or receive it from your GM Partner Program representative.

5. Visit your preferred Dealer and negotiate your best price. Then present your GM Partner

Program Discount Certifi cate for additional savings over and above your negotiated price.

3.5 CONFIRMATION OF CERTIFICATE

If you are using a personal company email, after you have selected ‘ACCEPT OFFER’ you will

be taken to a screen that confi rms the offer has been sent to that email address.

If you are using a private email address (eg: hotmail), you will be taken to a screen that

confi rms your Discount Certifi cate has been sent to your company GM Partner Program

representative who needs to verify your employee status. You will then receive the

certifi cate, sent to your nominated email address.

3.6 STEPS TO REDEEM CERTIFICATE

Once you receive the email containing your Discount Certifi cate,

follow the steps listed to redeem your offer.

These steps are:-

1 Print the Discount Certifi cate or receive from it your GM Partner Program representative

2 Visit your preferred Dealer

3 Negotiate the best price possible on the GM vehicle

4 Present your Discount Certifi cate and Driver’s License

5 Redeem your offer

Please note that GM Partner Program Discount Certifi cates are only valid for 28 days from date of issue.
