Then He arose, over death He had conquered Now He’s ascended, my Lord evermore

One day the trumpet will sound for His coming One day the skies with His glories will shine Wonderful day, my Beloved One’s, bringing

Glorious Savior, Jesus, is mine

For the Son of God, Who came Ruined sinners to reclaim.

Bearing shame and scoffing rude, In my place condemned He stood; Sealed my pardon with His blood.

Guilty, vile, and helpless we; Spotless Lamb of God was He;

“Full atonement!” can it be? Hallelujah… Hallelujah!

Isaiah 53He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief…

…because He poured out His soul unto death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet He bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.

Lifted up was He to die; “It is finished!” was His cry; Now in heav’n exalted high.

When He comes, our glorious King, All His ransomed home to bring, Then anew His song we’ll sing:
