If theres one overwhelming advantage toTopcon GPS+ its thiswe provide access to33 percent more satellites than ordinaryGPS. Thats because GPS+ has the ability totrack not only both frequencies of all 24 GPSsatellites, it can also receive the signals fromthe 9 GLONASS positioning satellites (withanother 6 GLONASS satellites scheduled forlaunch this year).
Why is this such a huge advantage?Remember when we explained that in orderto have the best accuracy you need toreceive signals from a minimum of eightsatellites? Well, there are times during theday when it is impossible to get eight satel-lites in view, even on a flat job site! Ultimately, when you invest in a posi-tioning solution, whether for a surveyingcrew or to for stakeless, 3-D grading, youwant uptime not downtime, and thatuptime must be accurate.
Thats what Topcon GPS+ is all aboutaccuracy, all the time. So if the highest degree of accuracy and productivity is important to you,ordinary GPS isnt for you. You need more. Youneed Topcon GPS+.
