I also maintain close links with our partner university contacts, working collaboratively to implement recruitment initiatives in-market. These can include visits to local high schools, universities, and sponsors, with the goal of increasing awareness and favorability for our Higher Education partners.

One of the favorite parts of my job is regularly visiting partner universities. This enables me to deepen my understanding of the opportunities they offer students. I also enjoy meeting with students and parents in their home countries, showing them how we can help make studying abroad possible.”

Kaplan International delivers English language instruction to over 60,000 students annually. We operate more than 40 English language schools in the U.S., canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malta.

We identify students at these schools who are building their English language skills in preparation for college-level study. These students are offered a learning package that includes onward academic preparation, providing them with both savings and a seamless transition.

Each school also offers a University Placement Service where advisors work with students to match their interests and academic abilities to suitable institutions and degree programs. Students may also be recommended to a Kaplan International degree preparation program, preparing them to succeed at one of our partner universities.

KAplAn internAtionAl provides A simple solution to Achieving complex goAls.Education is becoming an increasingly global enterprise with international students enrolling at North American schools in greater numbers than ever before. for many schools, these students bring a new – and critical – source of revenue that enables them to be more competitive in their financial aid packages for domestic students.

By partnering with Kaplan, your institution will benefit from the infrastructure, resources, and knowledge of a proven leader in international student recruitment. We bring over 25,000 students to higher education programs each year, and welcome the opportunity to grow this number by working collaboratively with your school.

Most importantly, we base our compensation model on student enrollments – Kaplan bears the cost of identifying and acquiring international students on your behalf, so there is a little to no financial risk on the part of the university partner.

robina scheppVIcE-PrESIDENT fOr ENrOllMENT MANAGEMENT, PAcE UNIVErSITY, USA“Pace previously ran its own conditional admission program, but the Kaplan partnership has strengthened the University’s pathways operations hugely. The support services provided by Kaplan are brilliant, and we have enjoyed more consistent recruitment and better student matriculation rates.

One of the best aspects of the partnership is just how well Kaplan-recruited students are performing on their degrees; many of them win awards and gain fantastic internships.

As a partner, Kaplan has such deep knowledge of international markets all around the world. This has benefitted not only Pace’s pathways route, but our direct recruitment activities too.”

“Since we first partnered with Kaplan in 2007, the increased diversity of nationalities we have recruited has been very impressive, particularly from the Middle East and South East Asia.

Kaplan has developed very strong relationships with sponsor bodies in these regions, which has led to high growth in recruitment from countries including Angola, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, and has further helped to diversify the University of liverpool campus. In the coming years, we look forward to exploring Kaplan’s new and innovative models, such as the Global foundation. We see Kaplan as a highly pioneering partner, which helps universities create effective new channels of international student recruitment.”
