Finance & Development (NIFD) pools all its resources on drafting its annual research report Managing Financial Risks

data from Chinese National Balance Sheet over the past 12 years, this report sheds light on major risks in China's

The Palace Museum·Paintings and Works of Calligraphy Exhibition

The exhibited reproductions originate from ancient paintings and works of calligraphy selected from the vast

collection of the Palace Museum. Their original art works, ranging from traditional landscape paintings, bird and

flower paintings to the works of calligraphy, date back to the Dynasty of Jin (266-420), Tang (618-907), Song (960-

1279), Ming (1368-1644), and Qing (1644-1911). The exhibition also offer the sight of some extremely rare objects

created by more than 10 masters of art in ancient China, including Wang Xianzhi’s Calligraphy Work of “Zhong Qiu”,

Wang Xun’s Calligraphy Work of “Letter to Bo Yuan”, Wang Ximeng’s Handscroll Depicting A Thousand Li of Rivers

and Mountains, as well as Twelve Beauties of Prince Yong, all of which are well known in the Chinese art history.

In that spring a hundred years ago, Mr. Xu Beihong took a sea-voyage eastwards to Japan to study, and then

continued to study, exhibit and communicate across Eurasia, he has developed the Belt and Road of culture and art.

Painting art is the common language of human beings, it also needs mutual communication and reference of different

culture areas. Review the continuously exploring road which they had walked for art exchange between eastern and

western, it is presented in Mr.Xu Beihong’s representative works "North Tour", "Running Horses", as well as the

representative works of Mr. Qi Baishi, Mr. Li Kuchan, etc.

The Old Beijing itself is a value of art." For Feng Ke, an artist should take the heavy responsibility of history, lift his

spirit for caring about humanity, and be motivated to contribute to the civilization, culture, and tradition restored in

our society. Chinese painting should not only depict plum blossoms, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum or

mountains and water, but also present the disappeared or endangered memories of history and cityscape. He

A Monumental Thangka Art Exhibition on “the Tenth Panchen Lama, Great Master of Tibetan Buddhism”

Thangka represents a special kind of Tibetan painting, depicting the sacred Buddhist world with bright and shiny

colors. Sourced from precious materials such as gold, silver, pearls, saffron, corals, rhubarb and indigo, the colors can

painting art. The monumental thangka to be exhibited is 56 meters in length, featuring the 10th Panchan Lama
