Maternity as a Master (MAAM) aims attransforming the maternity (and care)experiences inanopportunity forprofessional growth and originates from the encounterbetween Riccarda Zezza and Andrea Vitullo.Togethertheydecidedtochallengeoneofthemostdamagingstereotypesinthe21stcenturyeconomy. This stereotype considersmotherhood as a weak point in women’scareers. The activities of MAAM started in2014.MAAM is today a digital program thatcompanies buy to transform the parentalexperience of their employees in anopportunitytodevelopsoftskillsthatarekeyforproductivityandsuccess.New mothers and new fathers, by accessingtheplatform(beforeduringandafterparentalleave), develop relational, organisational andinnovation skills and go back to work feelingstronger and being more connected to eachother. This way, companies leave the “work lifebalance” era andenter the “work life synergyera”,wheretheirpooloftalentsandresourcesgets broadened thanks to a “Life basedlearning”model.

Empowering Women inLeadershipTheBrusselsBinder

This project started in 2015 as an informalnetwork ofwomen from Brussels based thinktankswhocametogetherfromtimetotimeontopics of common interest.
