The level of water pollution across the globe is rising exponentially each year. Although 70% of the
earth’s surface is covered with water, majority of the water needs are addressed through annual
precipitation. About two-thirds of annual precipitation evaporates into the atmosphere, and another 20-

inhibitors, coagulants and flocculants, biocides and disinfectants, pH adjusters and stabilizers, chelating
