ABOUT CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Global Village on the Move (GVOTM) is a mobile version

of Lehigh University's highly acclaimed Global Village for

Future Leaders of Business and Industry® program, which

integrates learning elements in leadership and

entrepreneurial skills, business and industry knowledge,

and the tools to build a powerful global network.

GVOTM programs are held in unique centers of business

around the world. GVOTM programs aim to provide a

professional level educational experience to participants

with a great deal of customization and a flavor of the

local and regional business culture and landscape.

Now in its ninth series and for the first time in Kazan,

Russia in collaboration with Kazan National Research

Technological University, GVOTM Russia 2014 will enable

participants to gain valuable insights and learning from

prominent Russian leaders and global entrepreneurs.

The theme of GVOTM Russia 2014 is Developing New

International Business Opportunities in Russia: A review

of Entrepreneurship, Policy and Culture. The program will

include courses, executive visitors, panel discussions,

team business project case studies and site visits to

global businesses. Participants will also visit beautiful

historical sites in Kazan and experience Russian

traditions, culture and heritage.

Lehigh University in collaboration with

Kazan National Research Technological

University (KNRTU) presents

Global Village on the Move

in Kazan – a third “Capital” of

Russia. This center of Russian

economy, business and culture is

the part of great Moscow - St.

Petersburg - Kazan triangle. Kazan

hosted the Student Olympic

Games in summer 2013 and will

host the World Football

Championship in 2018.

PROGRAM TIME: SEPTEMBER 8-16, 2014

GVOTM Russia 2014 is jointly organized by Kazan

National Research Technological University (Russia) and

Lehigh University's lacocca Institute (USA), and targets

young, globally-minded business leaders from different

countries.
