The Survitec Group network of owned service stations offer a wide range of Marine on other Safety services.

Currently there are approximately 25 000 hired or leased rafts in circulation worldwide.

17 000 (68%) are Survitec manufactured life rafts.

5000 are hired and managed by Survitec Group.

Ships with Survitec managed hired life rafts operate locally and worldwide.

We are now renewing contracts with customers who started to hire life rafts from us 10 years ago.

We are proven experts in asset tracking systems and have successfully deployed asset tracking for

a number of customers and a variety of product ranges.

We do the daily tracking of more than 28.000 hired survival suits for offshore workers

We track the through-life maintenance requirements of pilot flight equipment, using our in-house developed

tracking system

Our Life Raft Hire Offering

Fully approved Solas / CE approved life rafts, capacity 6 - 37 persons, davit launch and throw over.

World class brands : RFD, DSB, SAS Zodiac.

Standard contract term : 5, 7 or 10 years. Other terms may be considered.

Fixed annual hire price, only subject to annual adjustment to inflation.

Choice between two models : Service Hire or Exchange hire.

Price includes rent of the life raft, service or exchange when the raft needs to be serviced, transport

from and to the agreed Collection Point.

Easy early termination, for example if a ship is sold or taken out of service.

Option to purchase the life rafts at the end of the hire term or at early termination (only for Service Hire).

Service Hire : the world top 150 ports are covered, plus many other ports.

Exchange Hire : the world top 50 ports are covered.

Option to add vessels and life rafts to the contract at the same terms.

We can manage the services and exchanges for you. Just tell us where your vessels are going to be.

Option to combine with fixed price servicing of existing life rafts (only for Service Hire).

Option to extend the contract at the same terms.

How does it work ?

If you are interested in our life raft hire offering, please provide us with the following information:

- A list of your vessels and their flag state

- A list of all life rafts that are currently on board : brand, type, size, age, date of last service (if available)

- Your preferred option : Service Hire or Exchange hire

- A list of ports where you will require the rafts to be serviced or exchanged. If such list is not available, we will

propose our standard list of ports.

- Your preferred contract term : 5, 7 or 10 years. If no preference, we will offer for all three terms.

- Your preferred currency : Euro, USD, UK Pounds.

Upon receipt of your information, we will prepare a proposal, including the key elements of our offering

and our price.

If you agree with our proposal, we will prepare a detailed contract.

After signing the contract, we will start to replace your existing life rafts with our hire life rafts. This will

normally be done some time before these life rafts are due for service. The place and time of

replacement will be agreed with you, based on the itinerary of your vessels.

When a hire life raft is due for service or exchange, you inform us when and where you want it to be

serviced or exchanged. We can do this planning for you, if you provide us with the itinerary of your

vessels.

We will instruct the most nearby service station to meet your ship and arrange the service or exchange

operation.

You will not need to pay anything to the service station. All charges will be invoiced by Survitec Group to

you with one single monthly invoice.

Survitec rule:

There will be an internal inspection on 10% of the cylinders of the BA's and EEBD's to

Check for corrosion inside.

The inspection of the 10% cylinders will be free of charge. If corrosion is found in the 10%

cylinders all of them will be opened. The inspection cost for the Internal inspection of an

air cylinder is then 12,30 EUR
