ImmigrationOur immigration services simplify the process and reduce any stress by taking the responsibility for all immigration requirements when deploying a workforce. No two immigration scenarios are ever the same. We ensure that every case is reviewed and managed independently.

We have developed a proven system to ensure that visa applications are processed quickly and efficiently, no matter which countries are involved.

The Visa Process1. We provide personnel with a starter

pack that outlines documents and actions required of them and highlights a point of contact in the Global Mobility team.

2. We place follow-up calls to support personnel in document gathering, answering queries, and providing interim quality assessments on suitability of available documentation and additional resources, e.g. booking a medical.

3. Application forms and relevant documentation are sent to local authorities for processing.

4. The visa is collected at the appropriate consulate location. This can include securing a dispensation to collect the visa from a consulate that is outside of the consultant’s home country.

ResultAirswift acted as the sole supplier to Total on this project for over a year. Due to our operational footprint in the region, Total was able to engage with one agency who could provide the full suite of services allowing for improved efficiencies and cost management. This approach enabled the smooth, safe, and compliant mobilisation and ongoing support of the personnel and their families through the lifecycle of the projects.

BackgroundTotal is a French multi-national integrated oil and gas company. They have 97,000 employees globally and sales exceeding €200 billion. Total has operations in 130 countries and is the world’s fifth-ranked publicly traded international oil company.

ChallengeIn 2012, Total approached Airswift in Kuala Lumpur to support two project teams consisting of 20 personnel and their families. The teams were due to take up assignment in Malaysia on the Ichthys project in Australia and the Maharaja Lela project in Brunei. Although the teams were already working for Total in other locations, they required their structure in-country to work compliantly and safely in order to work on the projects in Brunei and Malaysia.

Airswift SolutionOur dedicated Account Manager and Global Mobility team worked closely with the Jasmine leadership team to coordinate mobilisation services against the project schedule whilst ensuring strict compliance with legal, fiscal and immigration legislation for all personnel. Specific solutions implemented included engaging local on-site support in all locations to provide:

• Language assistance to address all logistics of support and accompanying throughout the lifecycle of the assignment

• Coordinated accommodation, flight management, transportation, activities and all destination services

• Orchestrated inductions, medicals, survival courses and PPE requirements

• Obtained sponsorships to ensure a compliant employment solution to work in difficult country locations.

ResultsWe successfully delivered and supported the Jasmine project over a five year period in seven locations across five countries. We mobilised over 400 personnel, achieving unprecedented delivery schedules and assignee satisfaction levels.

BackgroundConocoPhillips is the world’s largest independent exploration and production company. It explore for produce, transport and market crude oil, bitumen, natural gas, natural gas liquids, and liquefied natural gas on a worldwide basis and have activities in 29 countries.

In 2006, ConocoPhillips discovered the Jasmine field and located one of the largest finds in the United Kingdom’s North Sea since the mid-1990s.

ChallengeAs the sole provider, Airswift needed to provide full Global Mobility solutions throughout the project lifecycle. This would mean mobilising, supporting and demobilising over 400 personnel compliantly within a tight timetable in six different locations; Aberdeen, London, Cadiz, Dubai, Ravenna and Singapore. This five year project was technically challenging, and the Global Mobility requirements no less so. Specific challenges included:
