In year 2000 BIGRAM introduced GMC in Poland. In 13 years the project gathered 25 000 participants, over 80 universities and 250 companies and partners. Polish editions are one of the largest in the world and remain the benchmark for other countries in the GMC network. GMC is highly recognized and appreciated in Poland both in business and academic world. It creates valuable experience developing participants’ knowledge on strategy planning, broadening their perspective on company management . In the same time, GMC is a teambuilding activity, that empowers interpersonal skills and integrates participants focused on the common goal – winning by achieving the highest results in effective management. Companies interested in potential development and employee engagement register teams of managers, specialists or young talents. Employers keen on recruiting students can sponsor chosen academic teams in order to meet and acquire best talents for internships.

It is the largest business simulation in the world, certified by European Foundation for Management Development. (Certificate for teChnology-Enhanced Learning).

GLOBAL MANAGEMENT CHALLENGE

14th Polish edition We invite companies to sponsor their employees in the GMC simulation or/and support academic teams in order to gain employer branding and talent recruitment opportunities. GMC is a unique interactive form of development. Participants (in teams from 3 to 5 people) perform the role of managemenbenet boards in virtual companies. They not only have to plan the strategy but also decide on operations, predict the market situation and competitors’ behavior. The simulation is a beneficial training tool for experienced managers, team leaders but also for specialists and young talents, representing different kind of specializations and sectors. The competition strengthens the spirit of healthy rivalry, supports teambuilding and integration of employees who represent the company in this event.

GLOBAL MANAGEMENT CHALLENGEThe role of the competing teams in the GMC challenge is to manage their companies on a simulated market.

Teams have to take around 70 decisions in each competition cycle covering i.e. production, prices, sales, marketing, HR, investments, R&D, infrastructure, finance. The simulation is interactive, teams gathered in groups (of 7 – 8 teams) compete against each other to achieve the highest investment performance at the end of each round. One round consists of 5 decision cycles which respond to five financial quarters. All teams receive a management report after each decision cycle which gives them the detailed information on their performance, sales and financial reports, market information, and their competitors position.

According to the survey run among GMC participants, 91% of them confirms that they significantly developed their analytical skills, 80% believe that they learned how to create and execute a strategy, plan and 73% notes improvement in the ability to work in a teamwork.

For each edition we recruit best students from over 80 universities to register their teams to the competition. Selected teams are represented in the competition under the patronage of their sponsor.

• Sponsorship of one student team is 6400 PLN + 23%tax. Sponsor can choose the team from proposed applications according to expectations, preferred location, university, faculty.

• Sponsoring of more teams is connected to additional employer branding and talent selection opportunities ( for more please ask for a Partnership offer)

GMC is a competition organized on-line. Teams must submit their decision by the end of each decision cycle. Participants can decide when and where they will work on the competition tasks. They decide how much time they will tribute to the challenge.

• We provide all materials, also for internal communication. If you are willing to organize an additional presentation for potential participatns in the company that is also possible in the Partnership package.

• Registration fee for one team is 6000 PLN + 23% tax. Teams who will register for the demo training will receive a 10% discount.
